WOOOOOOOOOO!!!  IT'S HERE!!!  WONDERCON 2019!!!  It's like Christmas in Spring!  Okay, okay, gotta get a grip here.  There's still a post to be done, so why don't we just jump back a couple of years and head to WonderCon 2017, sound good?  Great!  Enjoy...

Kirk's certainly been busy!

The Gizmonic Institute seems like a nice place to work at, but a couple of those scientists there just seem to have really dishonorable intentions!

Johnny Bravo!  He says he's pretty!

Mork from Ork!  Looking for the food truck selling pork!

It just ain't an Anaheim Comic Con without some Disney villains on hand!

Jareth always turns up in the least Goblin-like places!

Azkaban Prison must not be that well guarded if Sirius Black keeps escaping!  Do the Arkham guards moonlight there too?

Schroeder serenaded us with some deep cuts while taking a break from his shift at Knott's Berry Farm!

It's only a flesh wound!

Ruby + Sapphire = Garnet!

Sexy Chucky...  Whatever floats your boat I suppose!

"On the half-shell there the turtles four
In this day and age who can ask for more?!?"

The Dude and Walter abide!

Indy's ready to deal!

No wisecracks here.  This is straight-up one of the most dead-on accurate cosplays I've ever seen!

Patty, Doug and Porkchop!  Love to see families having a good time together!

Party on Wayne!  Party on Garth!

He just felt like running!

We end things today with Little Bob Ross!  Not sure what sparked the whole recent  Bob Ross craze, but I like it!  He was a positive man with a positive message.  Glad to see people appreciate that.

And that was WonderCon 2017!  My first year not tabling there and I have no regrets.  It could be stressful at times and now has just gotten too expensive.  I'm much happier just walking around, seeing the sights and taking LOTS of pics!  Maybe down the road, I'll give it another try.

And that's it for this week and a wrap on March!  I'm posting a little earlier this week so folks can take all the past glory in a bit longer before the big weekend!  I'm not tabling nor at (the moment) scheduled to be on any panels, but the latter can always change, so keep an eye on my Twitter feed (@JonsCrazyTweets) for any updates!  I should also note that given the nature of having tens of thousands of people crammed into a giant slab of concrete all at one time, cell reception's gonna be spotty at best, so updates may not be all that frequent.  Speaking of patience, it's a big show with lots of people, so try to be understanding and considerate of others.  We're all fans just trying to have a good time and it's easy for tempers to flare.  But if we all just be patient and kind, there's no reason we all can't have a good time!  Take care and I'll see y'all at WonderCon!

One week to go and we are there!  Hard to believe how fast time flies!  But enough about that!  This ain't Doctor Who!  We are in the now now, and as such now is becoming then as we head back to WonderCon 2015!  Enjoy...

My humble setup for the weekend.  Not the flashiest booth, I admit, but it works for me.  Cluttered tables do tend to draw more attention, but there is a drawback: Less room to work!  I did a LOT of sketch card commissions that weekend and was thankful to have the extra space to draw them in.

A Sword of Omens lightsaber?!?  My pal Dawn Griffin would squee rather loudly over this!

You know who else digs this Muscleman cosplay play?  MY MOM!!!  Seriously, she loved Regular Show

Strong to the finish!

Nice to see these two still hang out long after Space Ghost Coast-To-Coast ended its brilliant run!

Sorry, haven't seen any turtles around lately.

Gee, I never would've expected Belle to give Gaston a second chance, but I suppose anything is possible at WonderCon!

Quailman and the Silver Skeeter!  Cosplay wish fulfilled!

Anyone been to Gravity Falls lately?

Could've sworn that lion was bigger!

Black Widow and Hawkeye.  Keeping the exhibit hall safe for all!

It's showtime...

Thanks to Into The Spiderverse, we now know dual Spider-Men are possible

We end things on probably my favorite moment of the con, when Casey Jones came up to my table and started quoting the movie with me and my pals Matt Eargle and Riki "Max Sterling" Medina!  Good times, god times!

And that was WonderCon 2015!  A total 180 of what had happened the previous year!  I don't know if it was luck or karma or just plain finding the right note finally, but I could hardly keep sketch cards and books at my table, they were selling so fast!  I'd been battling a raging sinus infection all week too, so it certainly was nice to leave Anaheim with something hang my hat on afterward.

And that does it for now!  We'll have some more fun in store next week and some updates on my whereabouts for the show, so be sure to come back a little earlier than usual as we'll be posting on Monday for the occasion and take a look back at WonderCon 2017!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

We're back and so is the WonderCon 2019 Countdown!  Still on borrowed computer time here, so I'll make this quick!  We're just weeks away from the big weekend so to tie us over, I've dug up more artifacts from the CRAZY archives!  The year is 2014, the location is the Anaheim Convention Center.  The event, of course, is WonderCon.  Let's put the peddle to the metal and get going!  Enjoy...

Jay and Silent Bob always know where to find a good time!

Sorry Casey, but you gotta know what a crumpet is to know cricket!

The Bride of Frankenstein!  In living color!

If only...

Incidentally Lone Star, Disneyland is literally across the street!

The Silver Surfer definitely does his sit-ups everyday!

Mutant and proud!

"Number 1, I order you to take a number 2!"
"Aye aye Captain!  Heh heh!  Heh!"

No idea what this is from, but I love the dedication!

Marty and Quailman...  Now THAT would make for a fun series!

Even the King of the Monsters can get worn out at a Con!

Marty!  We gotta stop Universal from putting in a Simpsons ride!

Even the Easter Bunny cosplays at WonderCon!

And we'll end the week with some Cobra recruiters!  Gotta say, their health plan is expensive but quite comprehensive!

And that was WonderCon 2014!  Sadly, my memories of this show are quite vivid as reality whooped my ass all weekend long when it came to selling my wares.  It was enough to make me quit all together, but thankfully, common sense came in and dropped kicked depression out of the CRAZYVERSE!  Still, it was a confidence killer, I can't even deny that.  But even with that setback, I still made some new friends and saw lots of wonderful cosplay!  There's always a silver lining to be found.

And that's it for today.  We'll be back next week, same CRAZY time, same CRAZY channel for some more WonderCon fun from the recent past!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!
