I'm not sure what's goofier here? Jack's Mom being incredibly stupid or the fact that it's 15th century England and they seem to live in a modern town house! Fairy Tales are always mired in such silliness like kids wandering into houses made of candy or bears leaving their homes without locking the doors. It' almost as if we're suppose to learn through example or something!
I suppose it's time to discuss the elephant in the room here. Yes, the Kickstarter campaign that Kim Belding and I were doing did not pass. We tried our best but there just wasn't enough interest among potential backers. So where do we go from here? In another direction of course. Kim and I are already discussing a new plan, something on a smaller scale that would actually come out more along the lines of a series of shorts rather than one whole show. This plan will be more of a privately funded venture between Kim and I but will open it up for other backers should anyone be interested. More details will be made available as our plans progress.
For those of you that did back us and help spread the word on social media, I wanna thank you all from the bottom of my heart, especially my good friend Chris Gobbett, who went above and beyond the call of duty for us. Kim and I don't regret trying this and would (and likely will) do it again in a heart beat. The only regret I do have on this venture is that we couldn't make it happen for all you awesome people. Rest assured, CRAZY In Pink will see the light of day somewhere down the road! So stay "Tooned!"
Well folks, that's all for this week. We'll be back next time with a WonderCon special, featuring a New Mike And Mindy splash page, all my Con info and happenings and a look back at WonderCon 2013! So get ready for some awesomeness! Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all next time!

ReplyDeletePoor Jack can do no right. He should've used the guilt trip line "I was only trying to help" Couple it with teary eyes & Mum'll be forgiving him in no time.
