Hey folks! Gotta surprise final post for the Merry Month of May here, and it's all for a good cause! You see, I got a pal on Twitter named Bearman and every May he challenges us in the web comic realm to work his likeness or name into a comic or simply even a post and for every one time this happens, he makes a charitable donation! Talk about an awesome dude? He's already given tens of thousands of dollars to the those who need it most and pledges to continue this trend for life! I'm all for charity, so I am happy again to take part in this very worthy cause! Some of you may remember this same challenge from last year wear with a fairly raunchy Mike And Mindy comic that featured Mindy's coolest bloomers ever! For this year's toon, I put both a bear AND a man in the comic! It also helps that the man is in fact Bearman and someone even yells the words "Bear" and "Man." What can I say? I like to be thorough!
If you wanna learn more about this challenge or just wanna see some hilarious comic strips, click on the link here to get all the info you need!
Well, that's all for now. I'll be back on Wednesday to kick off the Summer with some inked and colored goodness! Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?! EXCUSE ME!!!
And we're done with May! Sheesh these months just won't stop flying by! Oh well, time must march on. Bubble Fox has stopped by this week, and boy is it a gas! See for yourself…
BUBBLE!!! EXCUSE YOURSELF!!! The theme of this came from the Daily Doodle, which was "A Very Loud Fox." Don't get any louder than farting into a mic, and let's face it. Willow would NEVER do anything so unladylike! So Bubble boldly bubbled up something wicked! He's a stinker for sure!
And that's it for May! More doodles are coming in June, so stay "Tooned" for more fun next month! Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

MIKE AND MINDY ARE BACK AND REVEALING ALL!!!
Well well! Look who's back! Mike and Mindy have come and they wanna party! PANTS PARTY that is!
Pants party? More like Underpants Party! This theme came from the Daily Doodle, which was "Pants Party." In England, underwear is called "pants," and pants are called "trousers." The Daily Doodle is based out of England and they are some rather proper chaps, so they put out this wild theme that produced many funny entries! Inspiration wasn't hard to find here. As a babysitter in my teens, there were many times I had to chase one of my cousins who decided to make a run for it come bath time. I swear those goofy kids loved watching me sweat! Asthmatics can't run very fast. Needless to say, I always made sure exit points were secured after my aunt and uncle took off!
Well, that's all for now. We'll be back next time with another pal stopping by for some "loud" fun. Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

SCRATCHING THE SURFACE OF CRAZY!!!
Welcome back y'all! Looking for some funny art? Well you're just in luck because I got just what you need! Take a look…
This came from the Daily Doodle theme of "A Boy Inventor." I've long held the belief that if you give a kid the resources and time, chances are he's gonna come up with something really dumb! I had a lot of fun with this one and got a pretty good response from it. Now, you can enjoy it as a fully finished work of art!
That's all for now folks. We'll back next week as a couple of old pals stop by to "Drop" a load and cut loose! Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

WONDERCON!!! WOOOOOOO!!!
Well well well! We are finally in the month of may, and as promised, I got a full report on WonderCon 2015! But first, let's start off with a finished doodle from last year...
Up above, we have a dancing hippo! I honestly can't remember if this was for the Daily Doodle or Sketch Dailies, but it was a lot of fun to draw. I really do love how simple some of the themes are. Certainly takes some of the stress off. And incidentally, this was the first hippo I ever drew!
And now, on to WonderCon! This year was one for the ages! After struggling through three WonderCons in a row, I finally broke through and turned a profit! It was a weird weekend though. I walked into it with a horrible sinus infection that I seriously considered heading to the urgent care for, and ended on some sad news that WonderCon was moving to LA in 2016. Still, there was no time for such worries. I knew something good was going to happen when I sold several pages worth of sketch cards within the first hour of it! I knew I was on to something with those cards when they salvaged the last day of WonderCon 2014 for me and further proved it at San Diego Comic Fest last Fall. Now, I know where my future focus needs to be. Anyway, enough blabbering! On with the con...
Hello there children! It's Chef! God I miss Isaac Hayes. If only things had ended better.
The Spaceballs brigade out in full force! Or is that Schwartz?
Gender-swap Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy! I had ran into these gals earlier at my hotel and they were kind enough to stop by my table for a pic!
Li'l Groot was super adorbs...
...Li'l Nurse Joker, meanwhile, was kinda disturbing! He liked my cards though! And yes, those are some MST3K cards in the book!
HAVE A NICE DAY!!! It's Mankind cosplay!
For years now, I've been begging on this blog for someone to do some Silver Skeeter cosplay. Now, we FINALLY have it! AND, they brought in Smash Adams and Race Canyon too! Next year, someone needs to add Roger and Mr. Dink to the mix!
YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! It's gender-swap Dr. Roxxo! The Rock 'N' Roll Clown!
Straight from Deep 13, it's Gender-swap Dr. Forrester, Mike, Tom Servo and Crow! And yes, his puppets actually worked!
We even had Joel Cosplay! His Tom Servo puppet ALSO worked! These dudes above have inspired me to build my own Tom Servo puppet this Summer!
Rita Repulsa and her goons! I don't recall Rita being so well, um, endowed!
And finally, the infamous dress was cosplayed even! Bonus points if anyone remembers this dress by next year!
So yes, WonderCon was pretty wonderful this year. Will I be back next year? Not very likely. There are some personal reasons I can't go and frankly, its tough being away on Easter. Hopefully a new show will come to Anaheim so we can all go back and have some fun. For all who came to see me there and supported me this year, thank you so much. It was a dream come true.
That's all for this week folks. I'll be back next time with some more fun. Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO KID'S GONE BEFORE!!!
And we're back! April ends tomorrow, but that's OK. Just means we are THAT much closer to Summer! Of course, when you live where I do, it's almost always Summer, making those three legendary months a bit pointless! But enough of that now! The BBQ's will just have to wait because I got some artist-type to show you! Enjoy...
This drawing came from the Daily Doodle last May, the theme being "Draw A Space Girl." I especially had fun with this as kids and aliens are a blast to draw! You can be really imaginative with them and add extra details, which made the girl's uniform a particular delight to design! I loved giving her shoulder pads and a triple-domed helmet so her pigtails could have room! As far as finishing a sketch goes, I've never done anything so drastic before with the background. Every time I try to draw the wonders of space, it ends up turning into a big black square with white dots! This had to look cool, so I let the real deal fill out the skies of this toon!
And so we conclude April, but we'll be back next time to kick off May with some new art and hopefully a positive review of the WonderCon 2015 experience! Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

HUEVOS RANCHEROS ES MUY MACHO!!!
And we're back! In time for my birthday week no less! Turning 30 hasn't been the big bad wolf I thought it'd be, although I still can't shake the feeling I should be further along than I am right now. Hopefully 31 will lead me to new heights and happier days! Anyway, here's another inked sketch! Enjoy...
This total badass was done for Sketch Dailies last May on the day they did their "Create A Wrestler" theme. At least I think that was the theme, I don't really remember! This whole Luchadore deal stretches back quite a bit in my life, to when I was 14 and my dad got me my first mascara (mask). Since then, I've been in love with the Lucha Libre style of wrestling, to the point that I intended to go to Mexico after high school and be a wrestler there! Fate, obviously, intervened, and it never happened. Still, I always had fun with it, amassing a HUGE collection of luchadore masks and even convinced my nephew that me and a couple of other uncles were all luchadores at one point, one of which was named "Huevos Rancheros," who has now been brought to life despite a rather severe grammar error in the picture above! (My brain don't have a spell check installed!)
That's all for now folks. We close out April next week with a doodle that will have everyone "Seeing Stars!" Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!
