TICK TOCK...

Getting closer and closer people!  Comic Con's just two weeks away!  Now let's set the Wayback to 2009 and get going!  Enjoy these pics from Comic Con's not so distant past!

 The Imagi booth promoting the never completed Gatchaman movie.  It's a pity too, because the footage looked awesome.  Imagi had a lot of promise. TMNT was a very faithful adaptation, and Astroboy had good visuals, despite a subpar voice cast, save for Nathan Lane and Samuel L. Jackson.  Oh well.  I guess some things just aren't meant to be.

 Geez, you make one comment about a guy's glowing eyes and he get's all sensitive!

 My good pal Eddy, apparently not enjoying the company of green women.  Perhaps blue is his thing!  (On a side note, it was so hot in the Exhibit Hall, the green make-up was melting off the poor girls!)

The Big Boy, making his first Con appearance!  This guy's getting quite a following at the So Cal Conventions!

 My good friend and Controller Throwers host Riki Medina with a girl who made a dress out of one of the canvas bags they give out every year.  A big deal is made of these bags, and while they are cool to look at, they're not very practical.  They're big, clunky and not strong at at all.  For the last three years, mine has ripped on the Preview Night!

 The most devoted Nintendo Cosplay ever!  Seriously! Count the characters!

 These kids were kickin' it old school with some Golden Age variants!

 Hanging with Paul Scheer of Human Giant and Children's Hospital fame!  Human Giant was so damn funny!  Wish they'd put it out on DVD already!

 Three dudes you wouldn't normally see together in the same place!  Damn Licensing Agreements!  A bane to fanboys the world over!

 Sorry, I haven't seen a giant, Blueberry Girl rolling around.  But I do know what you get when you guzzle down sweets!

It was a good time by all!  Even the house staff got in on the act!
