MERRY CHRISTMAS CRAZIES!!! BOTTOMS UP!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS CRAZIES!!!  I'll keep things short today as it's Christmas Eve and we're all pretty busy.  Bubble and pals got their tacky Christmas outfits on while Mike looks like he just punched a ticket for a lifetime on the Naughty List!  Some kids just can't help themselves!  Still, it's a festive setting and they look like they are having the time of their lives, as they should.  Christmas is a time for fun and festivities.  I hope you all have a fun, happy and safe Christmas tomorrow.  And for my friends who just celebrated Hanukah and my friends about to celebrate Kwanzaa, may your respective holidays be happy and fulfilling too!

Well, that's a wrap on Christmas, but not on December!  We'll be back next week with a 2025 finale that will hopefully get the New Year off to a booming start!  Until then, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later.  Merry Christmas!

TURNING THE DIAL WITH THE CHRISTMAS CROCODILE!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  One week to go 'til Christmas CRAZIES!!!  I'm excited and I'm sure you are too!  There's still so much to do, so much to prep for!  There are decorations to hang, trees to trim and cookies to ice...  Christmas is a full-time job sometimes!  Perhaps we should take a break and see how the critters are celebrating?  After all, they are the purest of all creatures!  Enjoy...

Aw, how sweet!  This crocodile has forgone hibernation to celebrate the magic of the holidays!  But that's no ordinary crocodile...  That's the Christmas Crocodile!  What sets him apart from other crocodiles?  Simple!  This one wears a Santa hat and seems to be impervious to cold weather!  I honestly don't remember what collective I drew this for, but it was likely Animal Alphabets.  It's a fun little piece and who knows?  Maybe I'll work it into a story someday?

Another week down as Christmas approaches!  We are a week away and I promise we'll send you into the big day with a revealing look at some of the season's tackiest threads! As it is the holiday season, remember that folks need help.  Please give to food banks and toy/clothing drives this season.  Many of them will be wrapping it up this week, so please give if you can!  Every little bit helps and can really give people their badly needed miracles in these desperate times.  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

JOLLY AND ROUND!!!

Welcome back CRAZIES!!!  We are back at it again as Christmas draws ever so closer and excitement is building!  I have it on good authority that Santa and his Elves are busy at the North Pole, making toys for the good boys and girls and the naughty children that found ways to cheat the system.  In fact, why don't we scroll down and go check in on Santa's Workshop and see how these amazing toys come about?  I'm sure Santa will be happy to show us!  Enjoy...

Would you look at that?  Santa's stress-testing the limits of the beachballs he'll be giving away to kids this Christmas!  What's that?  That's an Elf?  Oh...  Well, I'm sure Santa has his reasons.  Elves can be pretty mischievous after all.  Little twerp probably poked fun at Santa's rotund posterior again!  If you ask me, they are both blowhards!

Well, another week down CRAZIES, but the seasonal fun continues into next week as we deck some unconventional halls for the holidays, so be sure to come back and check it out!  As it is the holiday season, remember that folks need help.  Please give to food banks and toy/clothing drives this season.  Every little bit helps and can really give people their badly needed miracles in these desperate times.  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

SANTA'S HITTING THE GYM!!!

Welcome to December CRAZIES!!!  Hard to believe we've already reached the end of the year!  Frankly, I'm happy to see 2025 go away, but, we still have a few weeks left, so we might as well celebrate the fact that Christmas is coming!  And what better way to do so than with the big guy himself?  That's right folks, the fat little man in a red suit is here to spread joy and happiness to all!  So scroll down and see what he's brought us this year!  Enjoy...

Apparently Santa's brought us disappointment for the holidays!  What?  That's not the real Santa Claus?  Well that's a relief!  Yes folks, that is not the real Santa, but rather, Gym Coach Santa!  I realize in these more modern times, Christmas and Holiday Pageants don't really happen in public schools anymore, but when I was a kid, we had them every year, and you could always count on the school's PE (Gym) coach playing Santa in the show.  Our coach, Mr. Gorm, was about 6ft 7in tall and weighed close to 300 pounds!  He looked more like a wrestler than a teacher!  And he didn't even try to play Santa right.  He wore the coat and hat and pretty much called it there.  Us older kids knew it was him, but the younger set could never figure out why Santa wore (SHORT) shorts and knee-high socks!  I suppose it's the thought that counts in the long run.

Well, one week down as we march towards 2026, but fear not!  We got more holiday fun coming, so stay TOONED!!!  As always, it's the holidays, it's cold and folks need help.  Please give to food banks and toy/clothing drives this season.  Every little bit helps and can really give people their badly needed miracles in these desperate times.  Well, until we meet again, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

MERRY CHRISTMAS CRAZIES FROM YOUR FASHIONABLE CRAZY PALS!!!

Merry Christmas CRAZIES!!!  I'll keep things short this week as we're all pretty busy today!  The CRAZYVERSE's biggest stars have come out in full force (And sporting their ugliest holiday threads) wishing that your day be very happy, your tree's lights be the brightest and your stockings be filled to the brim with goodies and treats!  Take care CRAZIES and I'll catch y'all next week.  Merry Christmas!

SANTA AND THE DIRTIER SIDE OF CHRISTMAS!!!

One week to go until the jolly fat man makes his long trip over!  What?  No wise ass, not Uncle Elmer!  Santa Claus!  'Course, Santa has a lot of prep to do before heading over.  In addition to the toys, he's gotta make sure the sleigh's well oiled and properly aligned and that the reindeer are fed and well rested.  With all these incidentals going on, how does Santa find the time to prepare his own self for the long night ahead?  Scroll down and find out if you really wanna know!  Enjoy...

It's not all fun and games for the elves.  Some are good at making toys while others excel at baking cookies in trees or repairing shoes for old cobblers.  Then there are those that just plain can't cut it anywhere.  Those elves get designated as Santa's personal groomers!  Exactly why Santa would want the career slackers to be in charge of how he looks is anyone's guess, but some say it is a means of coaxing these bottom feeders into trying a little harder!  And it seems to be working as these elves have found a very creative means of escaping their duties using a little bit of diligence and a LOT of helium!  Lucky for them, Santa's jelly bowl belly prevents him from looking up much, so they are in the clear...  So long as they don't deflate too soon! This art was originally part of the legendary Animaloon Collective on Twitter.  Elfloons were a bonus challenge held for a few Decembers during Animaloonies run from 2017-2023.  Those were fun days, but all good things must come to an end eventually.  The Loons always gave us a lift I tell ya!

Well folks, one week to go, but I promise next week will be a fun post, and a quick one, to compliment all you holiday merrymaking!  So be sure to come back and check it out!  In the meantime, please think of others this holiday season!  Donate to food/toy/clothing banks ASAP!  It's never too late and your help makes a world of difference.  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

HE'S A MEAN ONE..

Welcome back CRAZIES!!!  Are we really halfway to Christmas already?  My how time flies!  Well, we best not dawdle then as time is ticking!  Especially now that HE has been spotted in the area?  Who, you ask?  Scroll down and see for yourself!  Enjoy...

Yup.  HE is here and apparently Christmas just ain't enough for this grubby little scoundrel.  Now the Grinch has moved on to more lucrative dealings!  Mark my words, if Dr. Seuss were still alive, How The Grinch Stole My Stereo would exist today and be another holiday standard waiting to be inevitably ruined Illumination Studios!  If I remember correctly, this was a piece done for Animal Alphabets when they were doing their horror creatures theme.  I wouldn't consider the Grinch a creature, though Ron Howard certainly did his best to turn him into one!  Some things just weren't meant for live action.

Well, another week down as we get closer to our annual visit from the jolly old elf himself, but there's still a little fun to be had!  Santa's giving us all an exclusive sneak peek into his prep for the long night ahead, so be sure to come back and check it out! In the meantime, please think of others this holiday season!  Donate to food/toy/clothing banks ASAP!  One act of kindness can make such a difference in somebody's life.  Please perform that kind act if you can!  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

A HOLIDAY WELCOME FROM THE REINDEER CHORUS!!!

Welcome to December CRAZIES!!!  I know, it's a bit sad that Thanksgiving is over now, but hey!  Christmas is just around the corner and is essentially the same thing only now with presents!  Pretty sweet deal, eh?  I know how busy y'all are this time of year (And believe me, I'm no exception!), so why don't we just dive on into the art, shall we?  Enjoy...

Aw, the school Christmas pageant.  I guess these aren't really the norm anymore, but when I was a kid, public schools still held them.  None of the religious parts were covered, just students and faculty banding together to belt out some of the worst renditions of Christmas carols this side of a karaoke bar on half-price beer night!  The above piece was inspired by real events as I was once a part of the Reindeer Chorus for the Berry Elementary Holiday Concert in 1989.  Of course, my school didn't have an actual auditorium, as we were considered an "Inner City Facility," or "Poor School" for the uninitiated.  So we had to go another school a mile away that did have one to hold our concert at.  Needless to say, my school wasn't know for its strong academics.  Anyway, my kindergarten class was set to take the stage and performer our rousing rendition of Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer, or about as rousing as a bunch of tone-deaf five-year-olds in matching red sweaters, construction paper antlers and red glitter-painted noses could be!  By the time it was over, we certainly left our mark!  Half the kids were crying while the rest were either frozen, cranking up their decibel levels or just plain lost.  Then you had me, off in my own little world, hollering to my parents and grandparents to see if they could see me!  Yup, young CRAZY makes a cameo on this week's art, originally done as part of my Illo_Advent effort I posted on Twitter last year.  It got such a good reaction that I decided to make it this year's Christmas, where it is currently for sale on RedBubble!  I wanted so badly to do this in colored pencil, but I just didn't have enough time.  Such is life...

And thus ends our first post of December but fear not!  We'll be back next week with a familiar adversary to all things holly and jolly, so be sure to come back and give it a look.  In the meantime, please think of others this holiday season!  Donate to food/toy/clothing banks ASAP!  Be the good you want to see in this world!  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

MERRY CHRISTMAS CRAZIES!!! FROM BUBBLE FOX AND PALS!!!

T'was the post before Christmas and all through the house
Only one CRAZY was stirring as he tried to catch a mouse!
His cat lay calm atop the cable box with ease
While his disheveled master chased a rodent with no aim to please!

True story folks, a few weeks ago a little mouse got into my home and was literally coming out into the open with not a care in the world while my cat just looked at him like "That's not a moth or a lizard, so it ain't my concern!"  Lazy furry bastard!  Before anyone worries, I did manage to catch the mouse, after it walked RIGHT up to me, and I set him loose in a field miles away from my home.  Hopefully he's happily living with his rabbit and gopher friends!

Gonna try to keep things short today folks.  We're days away from Santa's arrival and I'm knee deep in cookie dough with deliveries to make!  Hope y'all like this year's Christmas art.  Used colored pencils and though I like how it came out, one shade of blue just isn't working for me.  I'll just have to try harder next time.  Anyway, enjoy...

Even I like to get toony from time to time, though in reality, I actually don't like eggnog or alcohol for that matter.  When I was little, I mistook eggnog for milk and never got over it!  As far as alcohol's concerned, it's not a straight-edge or moral thing.  I simply never developed a taste for it.  I have relatives that think there's something wrong with me because I've never been drunk before.  Guess I'll just have to take their word for it.

And so we've reached another Christmas my CRAZIES.  Next week, we'll be back to bring up the rear of 2023 and make sure that 2024 won't be the butt of the joke, so be sure to come back and see what's cooking!  As we approach Christmas Day, there is still time to help those in need!  Please help others by donating to food, clothing and toy drives not only this holiday season, but all year long.  It really does not take much to help those less fortunate.  Anyway dear readers, please have a happy and SAFE holiday with your friends and loved ones.  Until next time, I'll catch y'all later and merry Christmas!

MINDY... SLEDDING QUEEN!!!

We are back CRAZIES and halfway to Christmas already!  Time really does fly doesn't it?  By the time this posts, I'll have just finished an insane run at work and will be hopefully gearing up for my annual Knott's Berry Farm Christmas trip!  Longtime readers know that I am HUGE theme park fan!  Living in Southern California certainly helps as there's quite a few to choose from between San Diego and Los Angeles.  Knott's was among the first theme parks ever and has such a unique history to it as it happened all organically as opposed to being planned.  It's always a fun time there, but Christmas time at Knott's is especially something else.  It's like stepping into Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas!  But that's a tale for another day.  Y'all came to look at art, and I got some!  Enjoy...

This kids is why your mom always wants you wearing cleaning underwear.  You never know WHAT circumstance might pop up.  Also, be careful when sledding.  Snow can really get deep!  This was another piece from my first foray into illo_advent back in 2016.  For those that don't know, illo-advent is simply an art-inspired Advent calendar where a new holiday-themed drawing is posted every day between December 1 and Christmas Day.  It can be a challenge for sure and in recent years, I've gone to having a theme to go along with it and it's helped immensely!  One of those themes even became my first picture book, Wendy's Christmas Chaos (Available on Amazon folks!) and will eventually result in another!  For those on BlueSky as well as what's left of Twitter, this year's theme is the Christmas Pageant Players, and it's been a LOT of fun so far!

Well, another week down as we edge closer to Christmas, but don't fret!  Next week is a double dose of CRAZY to make sure we head into the holiday weekend properly!  Also, Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate as tomorrow's the last night!  Save some latkes and jelly donuts for me!  And remember dear readers to please think of others this holiday season.  Many are in need, so please help by donating to food, clothing and toy drives if you can.  It does not take much to help those less fortunate.  Until next time, take care3, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

O' CHRISTMAS TREE, O' CHRISTMAS TREE!!!

Welcome to December CRAZIES!!!  The Holiday Season is in full swing and we are as busy as Santa's elves here at the CRAZYVERSE!!!  I'm not kidding, this is usually our slow period at the day job, but since coming back from the pandemic, we've been busier than ever at the Convention Center and surrounding hotels!  It doesn't leave much time for holiday fun, but does ease the stress of worrying about paying for things, that's for sure!  But enough about that!  Y'all want art, and I got some!  It's not my best, but it's still here!  Enjoy...

Traveling back to 2016, and my first attempt at illo_advent, I give you this humble Christmas tree!  It's not my best art by any means and if I had to guess, I probably scribbled this right before bed on a work night.  That will typically be the case with my art collective pieces.  If it's VERY simple in appearance, it's because I didn't have much time to work on it.  In that same vein though, some of my most popular pieces have been among my most simple, while the stuff I really put effort in fell by the wayside.  Eye of the beholder I suppose.

And that's all for this first Wednesday in December, but fear not!  We'll be back next week with some seasonal art that will keep those cheeks rosy for sure!  I would also like to wish a Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate and remind my friends and readers of all faiths that this is the season to give, so please help others and donate to food, clothing and toy drives this holiday season.  It does not take much to help those less fortunate.  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

WELCOME TO CHRISTMAS CRAZIES!!! BOMBS AWAY!!!

Welcome to December CRAZIES!!!  At least, that's what I would be saying if it actually were December, which starts Friday.  This would be so much easier if they just put Thanksgiving on the last Thursday of November like they used to.  The only reason it moved to the 4th Thursday of the month was to extend the holiday shopping season, which already spreads into October now, so why bother?  Well, now that today's history lesson and rant session is over, shall we get to the art?  Splendid!  Enjoy...

Aw Christmas.  A time to laugh.  A time to love.  A time to make wishes to Santa Claus that will land you on the naughty list for life!  Sorry kids.  I know school is kind of a drag, but education is important, especially now more than ever!  So please stop asking Santa to destroy your school every year!  He ain't gonna do it and frankly, he's running out of coal!  Today's art came from a new art collective I discovered
over the summer called Seymour Draw More.  The themes were a lot of fun and really resulted in some of the best art I've ever done, and even gave me ideas for a few prints to sell!  The art above is also serving as my Christmas card art on RedBubble this for 2023, so be sure to look me up under JonsCrazyShirts and pick a few up to send to your friends and loved ones, heck maybe even your enemies might get a kick out of them!

And that's a wrap on November 2023!  Only one more month to go this year, and it just happens to be the most festive month of them all, so be sure to come back next week for some more holiday fun!  And as it is the Christmas season, please think of other this year.  Donations of food, clothes and toys are always needed and welcomed at many places, so please help make the holidays happen for those who need it most!  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

MERRY CHRISTMAS YA JOLLY ANIMALS!!!

WOO HOO HOO HOO!!!  Christmas is here CRAZIES!!!  I won't waste any time here.  We're all excited and likely really busy with prepping for Christmas Day while also heading out for other holiday parties, festivities and such!  So let's dive right in, shall we?  Enjoy...

Hey hey!  It's Willow!  The long suffering girlfriend of Bubble Fox!  And she's singing us a lovely Christmas carol!  Why isn't Bubble with her?  Simple: He's not allowed to sing.  Court order!  That and because this was part of Illo_Advent, time was of the essence, so I likely only had time to draw one character!  Got a LOT of these drawings sitting around in old sketchbooks.  Eventually I'll get around to posting all of them!

That's it for this week!  We'll be back next time to send 2022 off on a high note, so be sure to come back!  Christmas is this weekend and Hanukkah is underway while Kwanzaa starts on Monday, so I'd like to wish you all a very wonderful and happy holidays!  If any toy, clothing or food banks are still open, please donate!  It's never too late to help those in need, regardless of the season.  Until then, take care, stay safe, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE AND LILLY THE HOLIDAY LIZARD IS READY!!!

We are back and ever closer to the big ride from the big guy in red!  No, not Truman Capote!  I'm talking about Father Christmas!  Kris Kringle!  Pierre Noel!  That wino on the street corner that the mall hired in a pinch!  SANTA CLAUS!!!  The elves are hard at work prepping the presents, reindeer and sleigh while Santa himself argues with Mrs. Claus about whether or not he should start dieting after the holidays are over.  It's an endless cycle, but a necessary cycle at that.  While you eagerly await the arrival of your gifts and family festivities, please take a moment to enjoy this little bit of seasonal art as my gift to you!  Enjoy...

Oh my are we in luck!  You've heard of Santa Claus, Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and even Hanukkah Harry, but this rascally reptile tops them all!  It's Lilly the Holiday Lizard!  Her great love of ALL holidays has led her on a path to lift the spirits of everyone she comes into contact with, no matter the month or holiday!  She's a better booster than a Rankin/Bass special!  In reality, Lilly came about after a pal in England sent me a Christmas card after I'd already sent out all the ones I had ordered.  With none left, I drew a custom card with a new character, and Lilly the Holiday Lizard was born!  My friend loved it and I knew deep down this little lizard had some personality.  So I added Lilly to Bubble Fox!  She's not a regular character, but has been featured in several stories over the years and has been well-received for the most part.  She's quite scatterbrained and clumsy, two traits I know all to well!  When will Lilly strike next?  Only fate knows for sure...

That's a wrap for this week, and hopefully for some of your Christmas shopping as well!  Trust me, you don't want to wait on that!  We'll be back next time with some more familiar characters to send us marching into the holiday weekend itself, so stay tuned!  As a reminder, food, clothing and toy donations are all open now and need your help filling them!  Donate today and help make the holidays happen for those who really need it.  Until then, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

GETTIN' STUCK ON CHRISTMAS WITH MIKE!!!

Welcome to December CRAZIES!!!  I mean, the holiday season is in full swing already here, but it was still November the last time we met, so the change in months MUST be acknowledged.  We're a few weeks away from not only Christmas Day, but a completely new year altogether!  The times are exciting for sure, but as the festivities start to take shape, let's all take a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a little bit of seasonal art to help calm our nerves.  Enjoy...

Uh oh.  Looks like Mike made the mistake of doing the infamous Triple Dog Dare!  Does nobody ever learn a lesson from Flick?  I think an even more troubling aspect here is Mike's total lack of warm clothing in obviously freezing temperatures!  By cartoon logic, he should be blue and have frost hanging from his nose!  Hopefully Mindy'd on her way with a cup of hot water to help!  This art was from my first ever attempt at Illo_Advent, a Twitter art collective that challenges artists to draw seasonal art for the first 25 days of December.  Not always easy, given how many things are going on during the month, but I love a good challenge!  Plus, the holidays just have a good effect on my imagination!

That's all for today, but fear not!  More seasonal fun will be scuttling over soon, so be sure to pop in next week and see who's come!  As a reminder, food, clothing and toy donations are all open now and need your help filling them!  Donate today and help make the holidays happen for those who really need it.  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

MERRY CHRISTMAS DAMMIT!!!

Well, we move from one foodie holiday to another here.  Actually, pretty much EVERY holiday between Halloween and New Years is a foodie holiday when you think of it.  Oh sure, Valentines Day has candy and Easter has a feast, but food isn't the first thing you think of when those holidays pop up.  Food DEFINITELY isn't on anyone's mind on St. Patrick's Day!  But between October 31st through January 1st, it's just a nonstop glut fest!  But enough about that, it's now officially Christmas time!  And what better way to celebrate than with some festive Christmas art?  See?  I try think of everything when it come to these posts!  Enjoy...

Did I say festive?  I guess I meant miserable.  This art was part of my #illo_advent effort from 2019, with the overall theme being "Christmas Misery."  I wanna state right here and now that I in fact DO love Christmas, as much as everybody else does.  Having said that, there are a few things about the holidays that can be irritating, with shopping being one of them!  I'm fairly lucky in that I've only had a handful of bad experiences while out Christmas shopping, but I've certainly seen my mom and brother come home from a holiday shopping excursion looking like they were ready to murder something!  It's not always easy to be so holly and jolly when everybody around you acts like they already got coal in their stockings!  Another interesting note about today's art is that it is now available on my RedBubble shop as a Christmas card AND several other products, both wearable and stationary!  So be sure to look up JonsCrazyShirts on RedBubble to pick up this and other CRAZY merchandise!  I'd plug the links on the right side of my blog page, but I don't think they work anymore!

And that's a wrap on November 2022, but fear not!  We've already got a head start on Christmas and will only continue the festive fun from here, so stay "Tooned!"  As I always do this time of year, I once again urge you, dear readers, to help out those less fortunate this holiday season.  Times are tough for so many and it doesn't take much to drop a few cans off at a food bank or a toy at a toy drive.  Even some spare change in a Salvation Army bucket can make a world of difference, so please do your part if you can!  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!

MERRY CHRISTMAS CRAZIES!!! WATCH FOR DROPPO!!!

We have reached it at last!  CHRISTMAS!!!  Well, in a few days at least as today is the 22nd, and Saturday is the 25th, but do any of you honestly care?  We're so darn close now we can practically taste those roasting chestnuts they're always singing about!

My tree is up and trimmed and hopefully has been spared from any kitty exploration (Harry's actually pretty good about Christmas trees as opposed to when he was a kitten).  It's a busy week for all, especially with so many of us actually being able to gather again.  So how's about we skip the small talk and go straight to the art, sound good?  Enjoy...

Uh oh!  Look out!  It's a greasy dude in a green leotard and doctored pilot's helmet holding a Wham-O Air Blaster!  Actually, it's just Voldar from the cult classic Santa Claus Conquers The Martians.  A long time staple of the public domain, this "gem," and that's a term I use VERY loosely here, got a second lease life in 1991 when the crew from Mystery Science Theater 3000 got ahold of it and went to town!  It would eventually become among the series' benchmark episodes and to this day is often included in many fans' holiday viewing schedules, which is good because this polished turd is practically unwatchable WITHOUT the added commentary!

That's all I got for this week.  Be sure to come back next time as we close out the month, and the year, with some simple art and a message of hope!  As Christmas is still a few days away, I would again like to remind all of you to please help others.  Donate food, donate clothes and toys, drop some spare change in the Salvation Army bucket, every little bit helps!  As the song says "Think of your fellow man, lend him a helping hand, put a little love in your heart!"  The world really can be a better place if we just try.  Until next time, take care, stay safe and Merry Christmas.  I'll catch y'all later.

POSSUM PACKED!!!

We are back!  Little over a week to go before the big man himself makes his famous run!  No you goofs, not Kevin Nash, Santa Claus!  How many stories do you know of Santa blowing his knee out while taking a step?  Exactly!  As we all patiently wait for Christmas to arrive, there is plenty to see and do, all while STILL be cautious and safe!  Things have improved a lot since last December and we need to do our best to keep that momentum heading in the right direction.  But since you're looking at this page right now, chances are you're not out and about, so I may as well make it worth clicking the link!  Scroll down and enjoy...

Poor Sap.  The product of a well-meaning but VERY overprotective mother, this bundled marsupial often doesn't get to enjoy the festivities of season as much as his friends do as he simply can't move!  Still, at least hypothermia and pneumonia won't be any threat to him.  Now if only his outfit had a built-in bathroom!  This piece again comes from my first Illo_Advent attempt on Twitter.  I often try to keep these daily art challenges simple as there are time that I might have work and thus not much time to draw.  Last year, obviously, that wasn't much of a problem.  But still, drawing everyday with the intent of posting can be a chore, and I'd rather have fun drawing something simple and silly rather than rip my hair out trying to create a masterpiece.

And that's all she wrote for now.  Next week's the big Christmas post, so be sure to come back and get your virtual gift!  Until then, take care, stay safe and please donate toys, food and clothing to those in need this season.  It honestly doesn't take much to make somebody's holiday happen for them.  Catch y'all later!

UGLY SWEATERS: WORSE THAN YOU KNOW!!!

Welcome back CRAZIES!!!  The march to Christmas is on!  Have you started your shopping yet?  I actually haven't yet!  Usually I would've been halfway done by now, but a little thing called Comic Con Special Edition occurred Thanksgiving weekend and kept me a bit preoccupied at a time when deals were gonna be at their best.  Yeah, I let bargain prices slip away, but it was totally worth it!  CCSE was a blast and I promise I'll have a full review of it up in January!  But for now, we're sticking with the holidays!  I know y'all are itching to see some new art, and I just happen to have some!  So quit scratching and start scrolling!  Enjoy...

The dreaded wool Christmas sweater.  Itchy as all get out and uglier than a baboon's ass as my beloved Nana used to say, it seems that no kid can truly escape them.  Little Wendy here discovers firsthand just how nasty these inanimate beasts really are.  It's like the sheep's revenge for shanking its fur!  Today's art, along with most of the art this month, comes from my first foray into Illo_Advent, a Twitter art collective that challenges artists from all over to make a Christmas or holiday themed drawing every day in December leading into Christmas Day itself.  Some years have been easier to do than others.  One theme even led to my first, and only so far, picture book!  As of this typing, I don't know what I'm gonna do yet, but I'm confident I'll come up with something!

That's all for today.  Be sure to come back next week for some laughs that have been stuffed to the brim!  Until then, take care, stay safe and please think of others this holiday season.  Toy, food and clothing drives are all in full swing and need help, so please do what you can!  Catch y'all later!

WELCOME TO THE HOLIDAYS!!! WATCH YOUR STEP!!!

Welcome to December CRAZIES!!!  Last month of the year and among the most festive times of the year!  Christmas is certainly looking more traditional this year than last, and will hopefully stay that way!  I'd like to say that Comic Con Special Edition was totally badass, but as of this writing, it hasn't happened yet!  It will certainly be different, but I'm confident it was an awesome time and I promise pics WILL be coming in January, meaning my blog will finally get noticed again!  But enough about that.  We're in full Holiday mode here at the CRAZYVERSE and are kicking things off right with some really gross art!  Enjoy...

Kids usually want the moon and then some for Christmas.  Quite a few are privileged enough to have their every whim catered to even.  But regardless of societal status, few kids ever truly think their gift list through, like the little girl who pined for a hippopotamus for Christmas.  Sure, it would be cool to have one as a pet...  Until you have to clean up after it!  You think scooping dog poo is degrading?  You're really gonna turn red after your friends see you shoveling hippo crap into a wheelbarrow!  Yeah, I think I'll stick to smaller, more legally attainable pets from here on out.

Week one of December is down!  What does next week hold?  You'll have to come back and see for yourself!  But I promise it'll be fun!  As always at this time of year, please think of others and help out those in need.  Donate today if you can!  Until next time, take care, stay safe and I'll catch y'all later!
