ADVENTURES WITH ALICE!!!

Welcome to September CRAZIES!!!  Well, things are still in a secluded state, but we're soldiering on here as best we can.  I don't know what the future holds, but I'll be doing my best to carry on and give you folks something to look forward to every week, and this week is no exception.  So let's get on with the show and take a look at today's art.  Enjoy...

Careful Alice.  Those wonderland mushrooms have been known to have some pretty weird side effects!  Today's art comes from Animal Alphabets who, for their fourth theme, decided to go with creatures of the fairy tale realm.  Exactly how Alice, a human, fit the creature description is a little above my comprehension, but she was fun to draw and honestly, I'm always looking for reasons to draw giant mushrooms, so it all works out fine!

Well, that's all for today.  We'll be back next time with a fairy tale icon so big, you'll be huffing and puffing just to keep up with him!  Until then, Atay safe, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

LIFE'S A BEACH!!!

Another month down folks!  We are now a third of the way into 2017, and amazingly enough, the World is still standing!  Hey, I'm as shocked as anyone, but since there's still a planet, I guess we should continue on with the art!  As I mentioned last week, I created two new Mushrooms comics after a long hiatus.  Well, last week saw the first one go up, and now it's time for a second!  So let's jump right in while the water's nice, shall we?  Enjoy...

Wow!  Glad a crab wasn't the nearest sea critter he could find!  Few realize just how useful octopi really are.  They can do a lot more than accurately pick World Cup winners!  They also make great parachutes!  This idea came about when Top Web Comics put out a theme on Twitter asking cartoonists to handle the embarrassing situation of losing one's bathing suit to a monster wave!  Well, I knew I had to take the comedy route with it and ended up with a makeshift octopus speedo!  It was a lot of fun to re-explore Mushrooms again.  I always felt that poor strip got lost in the shuffle during it's run.  Some of the toons I'm most proud of were Mushrooms strips and hopefully these last two will get some laughs from you fine folks!

Well, that's all she wrote for April 2017!  Be sure to come back next week as we kick off May with a trip down the yellow brick road!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

WAY TO GO, JO!!!

WOOOOOOO!!!  We are back!  After six weeks straight of comic con pics, we are finally back with some CRAZY comic action!  As some of you may recall, I ended my two original comic series', Mike & Mindy and Mushrooms, three years ago to move on to other stories.  Well, recently, two story ideas popped up that just couldn't be contained to a single panel, so today I present to you the first of the two New Mushrooms strips since December of 2014!  Enjoy...

As a general rule in cartoons, never over inflate an inflatable object.  It's just gonna blow up the blower instead!  Joanne Byatt is a very dear friend of mine on Twitter who is always very encouraging.  So when she got picked up by a major publishing house,  I did this little one shot comic as way to congratulate her!  At the time, many illustrators were on a balloon squirrel kick, so I thought I'd jump on board with my own puffed up squirrel for Jo!  Sadly, he blew away to another part of England afterward!  To see more of Jo's delightful art, check out her website here!  Congrats as always Jo and thanks for being such a wonderful friend!

And that's all for this week.  We'll be back next week with another New Mushrooms comic that'll really reveal the dangers, and bounty, of the ocean!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

ALICE AND THE MAGIC MUSHROOMS!!!

And we're done!  February 2016 is in the books!  Boy this year's off to a fast start!  Aren't they always though once you hit adulthood?  But enough about that.  There's artwork to be seen!  So sit back and enjoy…

Careful Alice.  I don't think those are truffles!  This theme came from the Daily Doodle and may well be several rolled into one.  Can't remember if it was a whole Wonderland week or just a day.  Felt weird making this kinda joke, but everyone seemed to like it.  Let's face it.  Lewis Carroll's work is pretty damn suggestive when you really look at it!  It's OK to be a little risqué from time to time.  Just don't make it a habit.  And that is my advice for today!

And so ends another month.  We'll be back to kick off March with some more CRAZY fun next week, so be sure to come back!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

HOPPIN' HAPPY!!!

Hello CRAZIES!  Halfway through January already?  Why must time fly the older we get?  Seriously, we're now 11 months away from Christmas (And eight months away from the traditional start of the Holiday Overkill Season!)!  Oh well.  I guess we'll just have to bide our time with some art, which I just happen to have!  Enjoy…

"A Toad On A Toadstool"… Thus was the theme put out by Sketch Dailies a while back, and one I was more than happy to draw!  I've always loved frogs and toads.  I love all amphibians and reptiles!  That people are terrified of something as sweet as a fat, funny frog is beyond me.  They're friendly and beneficial.  And can totally cut a rug too!  So if you see a frog or a toad dancing on a mushroom, be sure to give it a nice pet on the head and a fly or two.

That's all for this week folks.  I'll be back next time to close out January in "Explosive" fashion!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

ISSA MARIO!!!

Another week, another inked doodle from the past!  This time we got the Mickey Mouse of gaming getting the CRAZY treatment, so lets hop to it!

I can't remember whether this was for Daily Doodle or Sketch Dailies, may have been the latter, but it was fun to draw.  I've often wondered if Mario and Luigi aren't great heroes.  I think they might just be really really high and hallucinating all theses wild things!  Mario's an odd topic for me.  As fun as the games are, the character really is a stereotype on Italian culture, of which I am half.  I guess I'd be less troubled by him if he spoke in a more dignified manner.  I was always under the impression he was from Brooklyn, not Italy itself.  Eh, maybe I'm just over thinking this.

Well, that's all for now.  I got something VERY special coming next week!  A couple of old pals have gotten fuzzy and I can't wait to show y'all, so be sure to come back!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

MUSHROOMS: A MESSY WELCOME...

And now, we come to another ending, this time for Mushrooms.  But where one strip ends, a new one begins, and now we get to know are new pals a little bit better!  So lets get on our party gear and head on over to CRAZY HQ for the shindig to end all shindigs…

Yup.  Peppertown is gonna be a pretty wild toon!  Did y'all expect anything different from me?  Honestly now!  That cake was tasty.  Took forever to comb it out of Bubble's fur though.  And even the Dancing Asparagus popped in for a bit!  And yes, that IS Mike and Mindy yelling surprise with the others!  Yeah, I know it's a copout since they don't actually have individual voices, but now you can all say you've seen them talk!

I've always felt guilty about Mushrooms.  The truth is, this series was what I sent in to the syndicates and MAD Magazine, but alas was always rejected.  I had so many ideas for it though that I didn't just want to shelve it and I felt two monthly comics was better than one, so along came Mushrooms.  With few reoccurring characters and no real point, it always seemed to be left out of the CRAZY canon.  I think some of my best comics were Mushrooms toons and hope down the line fans will come to appreciate it.  Not that no one did.  Mushrooms had it's fans, but amid the see of wackiness with Mike And Mindy and Bubble Fox, it often got lost in the shuffle.  I'm proud of where this series went and glad I did it.  Taught me much and proved I could handle dialogue-heavy strips too.

Well folks, that's all for now.  Next week, Rich Clabaugh from the awesome Graveyard Gang comic works his magic for Guest Week!  So come on down and enjoy a new look for Mike And Mindy!  Until then, take care and remember to donate this Holiday Season.  Help your fellow man.

MUSHROOMS IS HERE!!! LET'S HAVE SOME "PUN!!!"

WOO HOO!!!  TWO WEEKS TO TURKEY DAY!!!  And I now have enough Joel episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 to host my own proper Turkey Day Marathon!  Should be a fun time!  But until then, enjoy this second to last offering of Mushrooms!

Puns, puns puns!  How I love my puns!  Annie Hall truly is a hilarious movie and just classic fodder for sights gags!  The Reservoir Dogs panel is a bit sentimental as the yellow dog is a tribute to a dog I had as a kid named Rocky.  He was a sweet, goofy dog who pretty much disproved that pitbulls are vicious dogs.  The Dances With Wolves panel is a really cheap pun, but dammit, even I'm allowed to ground out every once in a while.  Turner And Hooch is a movie I'm sure still haunts Tom Hanks to this day, but to get this joke, you must remember that Ted Turner once owned WCW.  The Hills Have Eyes… Another really cheap pun.  I apologize.  And lastly, Backdraft really is one of my all time favorite movies, hence the reason I'm honoring it with a fart joke!

Well folks, another week has come to a close.  We'll be back next time with a New Guest Comic from John Bintz!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all next time!

THE MONSTER'S IN THE HOUSE!!!

Welcome back CRAZIES!  Halloween is on the horizon and as you well know, I am ALWAYS ready for some costumed fun!  So let's slip into our capes and cowls and boogie down at the Graveyard Smash...

Who knew some stiff drinks could loosen up a stiff like Frankenstein's Monster?  (Remember kids, Frankenstein's the doctor, NOT the monster!)  If only King Kong had found a jumbo bottle of scotch before his rampage.  Why is it these monsters and fairy tale creatures keep running into drunk frat boys in my comics?  Granted it's been about two years since I last did it, but still!  Guess it's not a bad thing to have multiple staples.  I'm already now known as the "Helium Cartoonist" and the "Bubble-Farting Fox Cartoonist."  What's one more?  "Whoa dude!  There goes the 'Frat Boys Keep Getting Monsters Drunk Cartoonist!'"  That actually has a nice ring to it!

Well folks, that's all for now.  I'll be back next time with a Guest Comic from Atomic Terrier and Bot Brothers creator Josh Hughes!  If it's anything like his comics, it should be an awesome good show!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

A BUCKET OF GOOD CAUSE!!!

September is here!  Normally, Mike And Mindy would be appearing this week, but thanks to a challenge by my good pal Warren Frantz, the creator of Off Season, I had to change things up a bit.  You see, for a better part of the last three weeks, people the World over are dumping ice water on themselves to help raise awareness and money for ALS research.  Sadly, a skin condition prevents me from dumping ice water on myself (I've gone into shock twice as a kid from jokers who put ice water in a Super Soaker.  Scary stuff.)  Luckily, cartoon me is perfectly healthy (Although with the weather being so bad right now, real me is tempted to risk it!), and raring to go!  So let's do this!

Why oh why did I let that stupid fox help out?  Well, at least we can make a few bucks extra renting Bubble out as an advertising blimp! It's interesting to note that California is in fact in the middle of a crippling drought, leading many towns here asking locals not to do ice bucket challenges due to water shortages.  Luckily, slime is quite plentiful 'round these parts and no, I didn't use slime because Warren's Canadian!  If that were the case, I would've said "I don't know" first!  Anyhoo, the guests in this strip are Gloria and Gayle Golz from the aforementioned Off Season.  After being challenged by his kids, Warren posted a video of himself taking the ice bath and then challenged me, which leads to this cartoon today!  ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a terrible condition that destroys muscles and nerves.  I've lost a neighbor to it and a former coworker battles it right now even.  If you haven't already, checkout ALSA.org to donate and stop the disease in its tracks.  And please don't just dump water on yourself simply because you think it's a viral video fad.  ACTUALLY donate and help a great cause!

Well, that's all for now.  Mike And Mindy will return next week with their most explosive comic ever... LITERALLY!!!  Until then, take it easy, PLEASE help ALS research and donate at ALSA.org and I'll catch y'all later!

PURE IMAGINATION!!!

Another week, another comic!  Time to pay tribute to one of my all-time favorite books and films, Willy Wonka (Charlie) And The Chocolate Factory!  I've wanted to do one for a while, so here goes...

We only make fun of the things we love, and believe me I LOVE the old movie and book, even the new movie!  Roald Dahl was a big influence on the CRAZYVERSE so it is in good fun that I parody this classic.  With that said, Willy Wonka would've been in a world of trouble if he existed in today's world!  Believe it not, the scene in the original where he has the kids sign a waiver was added after Warner Bros. pointed out to Dahl that Wonka would be arrested for allowing such things to happen at his factory.  And since so many bad things happen, albeit to really bad kids, I just had to explore what REALLY would've happened at the end!

And that's all for this week folks.  We got a wonderful guest comic coming next week from master cartoonist Rich Lauzon of Space Pest Removal!  So take care and I'll catch y'all later!

LOOK OUT FOR THESE GUYS!!! IT'S COMIC CON'S MOST WANTED (AGAIN)!!!

We're getting closer to Comic Con!  And as in year's past, I'm presented another guide to avoiding some of the Con's more unsavory characters!  So with no further delay, enjoy this year's...

A silly as it all seems, I've come across ALL these types at any given Comic Con I've been to in the last decade.  Hell, I should make a bingo book out of them!  Was happy to include more guest stars in this batch!  The first panel is Stephen McGee's Raindogs, followed by Chelsea And Millie by Tom Szewc and Maxwell Vex.   James Anderson's Ellie On Panet X pops up in panel three while Vince Dorse's Untold Tales Of Bigfoot brings up the fourth!  Jonathan Petley's Space Doxie moves into panel five and then we close it out with John Bintz's Dawn's Dictionary Drama!

Well, it's Comic Con month, so let's check out some more pics from Con's Past!  This time, it's 2010!  Enjoy...

Thank God they finally finished that bridge over Harbor Drive!  That was a Hell of a walk from the 12th and Imperial Trolley stop!

Gonna go ahead and admit it, I have no idea who this dude's supposed to be!

If she's Robin in Batman Vs. Superman, I'll watch it!

LINK!!! Gender-bending Link at that!  In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a dude dress as Link before!

And here we have a cow.  Yeah.

Bebop and Luigi!  Now THAT'D make a game!

Princess Peach is keeping some interesting company these days.

Wonder what Vegas show she came from?

 GINYU FORCE!!! GO!!!

And I thought Ash had a cool appendage!

Well folks, that's all for this week.  I'll be back next time with an awesome Guest Piece from Mister And Me's Jason Platt!  We'll also have some more Comic Con fun in store, so come on back!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

MUSHROOMS!!! LITERALLY STAR STUDDED!!!

WOO HOO!!!  It's Mushrooms week here at the 'VERSE!  I've been dying to show this one!  It features cameos from three of my favorite web comics!  So sit back and enjoy some literal hilarity!

Ah, how I love to literally interpret things!  Thank God for Mel Brooks and Spaceballs.  That's what inspired this whole silly series to begin with ("Combing the desert" y'all!)!  The first row features Yeti and Veronica from Jeff Crowther's awesome Yeti 4 Hire!  Jeff as you may recall did a wonderful guest strip for me back in February, so I was more than joyed to take a shot at giving his toons the CRAZY treatment!  The middle row features Sonja, Bean and Ned from Thomas Barnett's Li'l Miesters.  Thomas also did an awesome guest strip for me back in February, so when the chance came to "Stretch" the constant battle between Bean and Ned, I had to jump on it!  The bottom row features Max and Eleanore from Caanan Grall's Max Overacts.  Caanan has taken part in past CCE's and his strip is always brings a smile to my face.  I don't think Max is overreacting to this predicament

Well folks, that's all for now.  Hope you enjoyed all the guest spots.  Speaking of guests, PJ Day from Flatt Bear will be here next week with a new Mike And Mindy guest comic!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

MUSHROOMS KEEPS ON ROCKING!!!

Another week, another comic!  This one should actually be "ROCK PUNS VOLUME 4," but, eh, it's still a Mushrooms strip when all's said and done, so sit back and enjoy the CRAZINESS!

Sheesh!  I hope the real Flaming Lips have a less horrific origin than that!  I've never even heard of Modest Mouse, but I couldn't let a good pun go to waste!  And I'm fully aware there are six doors in that third panel, but it's all symmetrical.  And panel four has some special guests from three of my favorite comics: Goober from Daniel Barton's Goober And Cindy, Ralf from Scott Lincoln's Ralf The Destroyer and Tawee from Eddie Pittman's Red's Planet!  I know the TNA bit is a low blow, but seriously now, has anything they've done in the last four years given anybody any reason to think otherwise?  And lastly, those twerps are as naughty as they come!  I'll be having nightmares for weeks now!  Guess I had that one coming though.  Nasty little buggers!

So ends another week of CRAZY.  We'll back next time with some Guest CRAZINESS to entertain the masses.  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

LET THE CRAZYVERSARY BEGIN!!!!!

And so it begins!  The third Anniversary of my humble little blog!  Who knew that when I started three years ago, I'd still be at it?  It's been a wild ride so far.  Peaks, valleys and all that other stuff in between.  The CRAZYVERSE continues to grow into a powerhouse among web comics, and I owe it all to you, dear reader!  I vow right here and right now to continue bringing the funniest 'toons I can muster!  I hope y'all love reading them as much as I love making them.

I won't lie folks.  The last couple of months have been rough.  Many difficult situations arose in my personal life and for a while there, things looked bleak.  And yet in my darkest hour, many of my friends from Twitter, people whom I've never even met in person, came to my aid. And for that, I am truly grateful.  Your kindness and compassion got me through one of the worst times in my life and words aren't enough to described how much I care about all of you.  I consider myself to be a pretty lucky dude.  To have made so many friends from my silly comics is a real honor.  I promise one way or another, I'll personally thank each and every one of you.

Well, I think we've all waited long enough.  The comics are fresh out of the oven and piping hot!  So let's dig in as Mike and Mindy are up first and still trying to get to school!  Will they succeed?  Scroll down to find out!

Wow!  Talk about "Flatlining!"  *Sigh* Guess those two are destined to be a "Smash Hit!"  Can't help but wonder exactly what kind of trajectory skills second graders posses?  Oh well.  There's always next time I suppose.

And now, making a brief return to the original format, here's a very special Mushrooms that the silent twosome themselves inked!  When they told me they wanted to pay tribute to me, I got all misty eyed and said "Awwwwwwwwwww!"  So here it is, Mike and Mindy's debut as creators!

What the?! Why those little... I... Look, it ain't what it looks like!  Those squirrels invited me over for dinner!  And I voluntarily quit Clown College!  And I live in a Truffle!  And it's a Man Frock!  Not a tutu!  As far as the nocturnal thing goes, it's the only time I get to draw sometimes!  Try finding a cartoonist that ISN'T nocturnal!  And I'll have y'all know that howling at the Moon is good for the lungs!  Ooh, those turds are gonna pay for this one!

The fun ain't over just yet!  Your Web Comics recently interviewed me and I even did an exclusive Mike and Mindy comic JUST for the site! You can check it out by simply clicking here!

And this is just the beginning folks!  I got a great line up of Guest Strips and Fan Art already in store!  EVERY weekday in February will be a celebration!  And best of all, there is STILL time to send in your Fan Art! Help Mike and Mindy celebrate their CRAZYVERSARY!  Send your Fan Art to:

fans_of_215@yahoo.com

PLEASE keep it family friendly and but do have fun with it!  All Fan Art received WILL be posted, so send yours in today!

Well folks, that's all for now!  I'll be back on Monday with the first Mike and Mindy Guest Strip of the CRAZYVERSARY, courtesy of my CRAZY Canadian "Brother," Warren Frantz of Off Season!  In the meantime, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

MUSHROOMS HAS GONE SOLO!!!

Welcome folks to week two of the new and improved Jon's Crazy Stuff!  As part of my commitment to make the CRAZYVERSE CRAZIER and far more efficient, not to mention more art oriented, I'm giving Mushrooms it's own week!  So sit back, relax, and enjoy the fact that the turmoil presented in the next six panels doesn't involve you!

Let that be a lesson about ignoring warnings: sometimes, it's something completely different.  Certainly brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "Ruffling one's feathers!"  I've heard of sticky situations before, but this one takes the cake!

I would like to remind all you CRAZY Fans out there that next month the CRAZYVERSE will be celebrating it's Third Anniversary!  And to celebrate, I got a WHOLE month of fun stuff planned, including Mike and Mindy Guest Strips from a few of my Cartoonist Pals!  Best of all, YOU too can get in on the act!  Show Mike and Mindy how much you love them!  Do some Fan Art!  If interested, send your Fan Art to:

 fans_of_215@yahoo.com

Be sure to put "M&M Fan Art" in the Subject Box, so I'll know it's not spam!  And please keep it family friendly!  They're only kids after all!  Any Fan Art sent in now through February WILL be posted during the Anniversary Celebration!  So get CRAZY and send yours today!

Well, that's all for now folks.  I'll be back next time with some more CRAZY fun!  Until then, take care, and I'll catch y'all later!

MIKE AND MINDY: LITERALLY SCARING THE CRAP OUT OF YOU!!!

Welcome to October!  Fall is finally upon us and that means orange leaves, trick or treating, turkey, and that wonderful vanilla/cinnamon smell that always fills the air!  It is my favorite time of the year, and I can't see any better way to celebrate than to post some new comics!  A full day early no less, and not just because I'm going to be totally slammed with work for the next seven days!

So sit back and hang on tight!  It's Halloween time, so enjoy these Spooktacular new 'toons cooked up in the CRAZYVERSE! kitchen!  First up, the wild pair themselves, Mike and Mindy!

I must admit, I'm very proud of the way Mindy's alien costume turned out.  I'm not very good at drawing "Scary" monsters, so I was a bit timid when it came to doing this strip.  But it looks pretty good, and it was a nice change up from the "Fuzzy" Monsters I usually draw.  I just hope poor Mike has a clean pair at home!  Maybe Mindy should think twice next time about who she scares and how she goes about doing it!

Up next, a "Bone-Chilling" Mushrooms!

Sometimes, there are some things that are best left unknown.  This is why I always keep my closet door shut!  Besides, it's much easier to get to your clothes when they are all laid out around the floor anyway!

Well, that's all for now!  I got a very busy week ahead, hence the reason I'm posting now instead of Thursday.  I'll be back next time with some more Halloween fun.  In the meantime, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

MIKE AND MINDY: ROMANCE, JEALOUSY AND EGGS CREAMS!!!

It seems like it's been an eternity, but comics are back in business here at the CRAZYVERSE!  There's so much going on right now, my head's a total blur right now!  Yesterday, I recorded the Twxxd.com Podcast with the Bros. Oliver and it also looks like the finishing touches are about to be put on my book!  Needless to say, it is a very busy but fun time here in the 'VERSE!

But enough talk!  It's Comics Week!  So let's dive right in!  Up first, Mike and Mindy!

Jealous?  Who said Mindy's jealous?  Let that be a lesson girls: Mindy will not tolerate ANYBODY makin' a move on her man!  I hope this will also serve as a reminder of the dangers of mixing Mentos with soda.  It's a very combustable combination!  I also hope that this will finally put to rest any rumors about Mike and Mindy's true relationship.  They are definitely NOT related!

And now, enjoy a serving of Mushrooms!

There are several stories behind this comic.  The inspiration came from Twitter pal (And fellow Union Member) Karen Gownley, whose husband is Cartoonist Jimmy Gownley.  Jimmy just ended his brilliant Amelia Rules! series, and I wanted to do a little something to show my appreciation for his creation.  One day on Twitter, I blindly asked what an Egg Cream was, and got quite the lecture from Karen about it!  It made me laugh and I thought to myself "This could work as a story!"  And so here we are.  What makes Amelia such a great character is that even though she's just a kid, she tell's it as it is.  She keeps it real!  The last unique aspect of this comic is that it's only the fifth time I've ever appeared in one of my stories.  Even in drawn form, I'm a pretty low-key guy, but the image of trying to scientifically make an Egg Cream was too funny to pass up!

Well, that's all for now, I'll be back next time with the results of my first big Twitter project, THE CRAZY CARTOON EXPERIMENT!!!  "What is it?" You say? Tune in next time and you'll find out!  Also be on the look out for my podcast interview with the TWXXD Dudes!  It was a very fun chat and it should be up soon!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

MIKE AND MINDY: EXPLOSIVELY FUN!!!

Well, here we are...  Comics Week again!  I've been so busy with work and studying that I almost didn't have time to get these done!  So much to do and so little time...  One of these days I'll get it right.

Before I start, I'd like to announce that it is now official, I WILL be exhibiting at the Long Beach Comic and Horror Con this November!  I'm pretty excited about it and have much to prepare for.  I've decided to reissue Fork In The Road: The Crazy Collection Vol. 1 using CreateSpace.  My next book will also be done through this site.  I feel bad, because my original publisher made my books look absolutely beautiful.  But they don't distribute, and I need a better avenue.  Several friends have preached the good word of CreateSpace, and I'm willing to roll the dice!  More info as it comes!

Anyway, enough Jibber Jabber for now.  Enjoy the comics!

Yeah, that old saying about blowing out your ear drums while holding in a sneeze is totally bogus!  Unfortunately for Mindy, that doesn't hold true for farts!  Still a pretty impressive blast though.  Who knew bloomers could hold so much gas!

This is based on the best of the "Yo Mama" jokes!  I'm ashamed to admit that some of the colors were done using Photoshop.  I pride myself on hand-coloring everything, but I was running short on time and, sadly, it's tough to get an even look with markers while coloring large spaces.  Still looks halfway decent though.  And yes, that's the Heat Miser making a cameo at the end!

Well that's all for now.  As stated last week, I'll be taking a three-week break from the CRAZYVERSE! here so I can prepare for my Journeyman's Test and get starting in prepping my books for Fall releases.  You can still catch up with me on Twitter, and when I come back, I'll make sure to have plenty of fun in store for all my Crazy fans!  So take care and I'll catch y'all in three weeks!

IN TIME FOR COMIC CON, IT'S COMICS WEEK!!!

We are now a week away from Comic Con 2012!  So much excitement... Good God I can't even speak!  Last year was a tough year for me.  I won't go into details, but I will say that it was next to impossible for me to enjoy the show, and a lot happened at last year's Con too!  So this year, I'm making a clean slate and going to kick it the way I used to and just straight up have fun!

Anyway, it's the first weekend of the month, and that can mean only one thing...  What's that?  No! Not laundry day goofus!  It's comics week!  So let's start the show with the favorite tykes of the CRAZYVERSE!, Mike and Mindy!...

I think this is why they say look before you leap!  Poor Mike.  And Mindy tried to warn him even!  What can I say?  Some dudes just can't take direction!

This was one of the toughest comics I've ever drawn!  Aside from the detail, there are also some cameos from a few of my webcomic pals! In the first panel, it's Jason Platt's Mister and Me!  The second panel is a "Who's who" of webcomic stars featuring Dawn Griffin's Zorphbert and Fred, Mark Stokes' Zombie Boy, Eddie Pittman's Red's Planet and Mook from Joshua Hauke's Tales of the Brothers Three! (The Brothers themselves can be seen in panel 5!  Stephen McCranie's Mal and Chad can be in in the last panel!

Quailman!  A very popular costume in recent years.  Now if only some others would dress up as Skeeter, Roger and Mr. Dink!

Y-Y-Y-YEAH!!! DR. ROXXO'S IN THE HOUSE BABY!!! Y-Y-YEAH!!!  I LIKE CO- Hey hold on there!  This is family site  you sicko!

The most creative video game cosplay ever!  A Tetris block!  It could actually change from a "Z" to a "T," as she painstakingly show me!

I'm sorry, but as much I enjoyed the film, Edward Scissorhands doesn't really make for good cosplay.  It's not that it's bad.  It just comes across as being really really creepy!

Li'l Naruto!  This kid was cute!  His mom was quite proud that so many people wanted to take his picture!

Futurama at it's best!  The guy did a spot on Fry when I asked how he could drink Slurm, despite being made out of slug poo!

Storm Shadow!  Slicing and dicing at the HUB Pavilion!

A PG-version of the Na-Vi hanging out in front of the Convention Center.  A few people dared to paint themselves that year!

Believe me, you did not want to see their faces when the Harry Potter/Green Lantern panel filled up!  It's because of that fiasco that I refuse to go into anymore Hall H panels.  It's just too much of a hassle to see two-minutes worth of footage and get a T-shirt that won't fit for a movie that might not be good!  I actually took it as a bad sign when nobody was buzzing about Green Lantern afterwards.  Guess my hunch was right on that one!

This one's for my good friend, the always funny host of Got Game's Controller Throwers, Riki Medina!  A lifelong G.I. Joe fan, the Baroness is his favorite character.  I think she's everybody's favorite character!

WAR MACHINE!  It never ceases to amaze me the kinds of things people can do with costuming these days!  Simply astonishing!

Fill in your own joke here.  This one's too easy!

A Foot Clan Ninja searching for Leonardo #10.  Best TMNT issue ever!

Just what is in the tea anyway?  I guess all the Mad Hatter cosplay was to be expected after Alice In Wonderland came out.

You know it's a good show when even Oscar the Grouch gets in on the action!  I tried to get my picture taken with him, but he told me to "SCRAM!"  I guess if lived in a trash can, I'd be grouchy too!

To close out the weekend, the Pope came by to give his blessing!

Well, that's all for this week!  I hope you enjoyed the new comics and pics!  Next week's gonna be pretty busy, so I can't promise anything, but I'll try to get a post up of last year's Comic Con, and maybe some info on where I'll be if any of you wanna meet.  As always, take care and I'll catch y'all later!
