WHAT'S THE "BUZZ?!"

Hello my friends!  Glorious day we're having, aren't we?  I mean, I haven't really got a clue, given that I typed this two weeks ago, but I'm totally willing to roll the dice here and hope it's a good day!  If it isn't a good day, then I hope this art in some small way makes you feel better.  Enjoy…

Bees and wasps… Two creatures I am not a particular fan of and avoid like the plague.  And yet I am always pestered by these mean bugs!  In the wild, bees and wasps are enemies, with hornets (social wasps) being quite the deadly foe for their honey-making cousins.  Daily Doodle a while back suggested busy bees as a theme, so I thought it would be funny if a hornet snuck into a hive during the annual Bee Social.  Clearly he's in for a long night!  (And yes I am well aware that most insects are female.  I'm allowed some creative license, aren't I?!)
