2015 IS OVER?! THAT'S A TOUGH PILL TO SWALLOW!!!

And so we've come to it at last.  The end of 2015.  This year was not a particularly good one for me personally.  Many things happened along the way that I'd just as soon forget ever happened.  Of course, it's not without some successes, few as they may be.  I finally did well at WonderCon, launched a new comic and made many new friends.  It's the positives I'll be focussing on when I look back at this year and hope to build on that while making 2016 the best year I possibly can.  Anyway, that's enough rambling.  Christmas is over, New Year's is on the way and you all wanna see which art I'll be closing out the year with, so here it is!  Enjoy…

This is why you don't tap the glass kids.  Snakes really don't like that!  This theme was another Daily Doodle piece although the exact theme again escapes me.  You may be wondering why I do more Daily Doodle entries than Sketch Dailies.  I honestly don't prefer one over the other.  They are both great and I enjoy taking part in as many as I can.  SD does tend to attract a more mature audience as opposed to DD which typically holds on to a more all-ages approach, which suits me better.  With that being said, both have resulted in many incredible pieces of art being created and it's worth getting a Twitter account just to see what Sketch Dailies and Daily Doodle will come up with next!

And that does it for 2015.  I know I said the past year wasn't too good for me personally, but creatively speaking, I loved doing all these color pieces for the CRAZY fans!  I know Mike And Mindy ending was a bit of a blow, to me anyway, but I'm really happy with the direction my other comics are going in and these blog cartoons have been a blast!  I can't wait to polish up even more of them in the coming year!  Anyway, have a fun, safe and Happy 2016!  Take care, and I'll see y'all next year!

THAT'S HOW THE CHRISTMAS COOKIE CRUMBLES!!!

IT'S HERE!!!  CHRISTMAS DAY IS HERE!!!  Well, in two days anyway.  But still, what an exciting time, eh?  Santa's gearing up for the big trip, but first he wants to freshen up.  And punish a not-so-considerate elf.  Enjoy...

*Shudder* Gee Santa, couldn't you have just given him a lump of coal instead?  Guess it's still better then letting Krampus get a hold of him!  This was another Daily Doodle theme, although I again can't remember what it was exactly.  It obviously involved elves though, and I think this may be one of my funniest!

Well, the big day is here!  I wanna wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope that your day is safe, fun and spent with those you care about the most.  And there's still some time to help out one less fortunate than yourself, so do so while you can!  Anyway, take care, again Merry Christmas and I'll catch y'all next time!

RUN, RUN RUDOLPH!!!

Good Heavens!  Are we really just a little over a week away from Christmas?  My oh my how time flies!  Hopefully y'all have been having fun and handling all holiday-related stress like champs!  The past me that's writing this is relatively calm right now, but the current me that will be dealing with stuff the day this actually posts is likely a nervous wreck already!  Guess we'll see how things go!  Anyway, I've rambled on long enough.  It's time for some art!  Enjoy…

After becoming Santa's top reindeer, Rudolph let the success go to his head and became a big jerk!  Man, Frosty's been getting his butt kicked in my toons this month!  Good thing he's made of snow and can be rebuilt easily.  This was another Daily Doodle entry made up of several themes.  Can't remember why I was busy, but I wound up combining the themes of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Robin Red Breast, Frosty the Snowman and Jack Frost all in one single panel!  Although they're a pain to draw, I love drawing crowd scenes.  There's just something funny about them.

Another week down!  We'll be back next time with a double dose of CRAZY Christmas fun!  Until then, take care, help others who need it by donating food, clothes or toys and I'll catch y'all next time!

WHEN SANTA'S AWAY, THE ELVES WILL PLAY!!!

OK, so Santa's actually out cold in this instance, but the same principle applies!  Anyway, hope everybody's having fun now that Hanukah has kicked off and Christmas draws near!  I swear all the best food holidays lie between Halloween and New Year's Day.  Is it any wonder we all make dieting a resolution come January 2nd!  With that said, it's now time to "Bounce" some art your way!  Enjoy…

Man, for a big dude, Santa's a lightweight!  You'd think he could hold his nog better?  Then again, his one night of work is pretty long.  If anyone has earned the right to have a few and then nap, it's jolly St. Nick!  Maybe next time though, he'll pass out in his room first.  Elves are quite mischievous after all!  This theme came from the Daily Doodle.  I can't exactly remember what the theme was, other than it involved Santa and his elves, and this was what I came up with!

And so ends another week of holiday fun.  We'll back this time next Wednesday with some new art that will break down the walls of comedy!  Until then, take care, donate to those in need this holiday and I'll catch y'all next time!

DON'T MESS WITH DER KRAMPUS!!!

OK, now that it IS December, I can officially get into the holiday spirit!  I'm still trying to recover from last week's turkey coma, but progress is being made, and not a moment too soon either!  After all, I gotta start seeing the sounds and sights of the season!  With that in mind, enjoy today's art, a look at Santa's muscle, Krampus!  Enjoy...

For those of you not in the know, Krampus is a creature from (I believe) German folklore, hence the accent.  His purpose is to beat the wickedness out of the kids on Santa's Naughty List while at the same time not understanding that the word "Whacking" is a bit of a double entendre out here!  I think if parents used this guy as a threat instead of a lump of coal, you might see more better behave children throughout the year!  This theme came from Sketch Dailies and the design is actually based off of my good pal Rich Clabaugh's interpretation of Krampus from his wonderful comic The Graveyard Gang.  I should note Rich actually gave Krampus a hoof in his comics.  The hoof was in my pencils, but I messed up in inks and gave him another foot instead!  Oh well.  Please forgive me Rich!

Anyway, it's time to end what I hope is a good start to the Holiday Season for all.  As I have done in past years, I urge all of you to please donate toys and food to those less fortunate this year.  Having come from a rough childhood, I can honestly say that every little bit does help.  Even something as simple as dropping a dollar in a Salvation Army Bucket makes a difference, so get in the spirit and give today!  And with that, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

TURKEY VS. HAM: BLIMP WARFARE!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  TOMORROW'S THE BIG DAY!!!  THANKSGIVING IS HERE AND GIVING NOTHING TO SANTA DAMMIT!!!

Sorry for the outburst, but I'm tired of Christmas stealing all of the Fall holidays' thunder!  You have your month Chris Kringle!  Let the ghouls and turkeys have theirs!  Anyway, tomorrow's the big day and you know what that means: The Macy's Day Parade!  Well, for me it's the revamped MST3K Turkey Day Marathon, but for others, it's marching bands, Broadway show numbers and giant cartoony bags full of more hot gas than the NFL Commissioner!  So sit back and enjoy this week's art offering!  Hit the button Frank...

Tom Turkey and his pig pal have found a new way to escape: Helium!  I'm sure they'll blend right in with the balloon versions of Kermit, Snoopy and Spongebob, despite being rather small and enveloped!  It has long been debated amongst Thanksgiving purists for many years what the better main course is: Turkey or Ham?  Both have many delicious qualities and work well with all side dishes, both sweet and savory.  I've always been of the opinion that both are necessary to make a Thanksgiving meal complete!

And that'll do it for the month of November!  Tom Turkey made it safely through another meal without being eaten and all are happy!  Next week, the Christmas spirit descends upon the CRAZYVERSE spreading joy like a wildfire, so be sure to come back and see the festive fun!  Until then, have a wonderful, safe and tasty Thanksgiving and Godspeed to the those braving the crowds at the Pre-Christmas Slaughter, aka Black Friday!  Until we meet again, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

TROPICAL TURKEY TOM!!!

Alright!  One week away from Extended Pants Day!  Gonna be packing away insane amounts food soon, so I best start prepping myself!  In the meantime, Tom Turkey's CRAZY Refuge continues in a tropical paradise!  So let's get our sandals on and feel the rhythm of the night!

WOOOOOOO!!! PAAAAAR-TAAAAAY!!!  Today's theme was originally based on the Daily Doodle's "Tropical Turkey" theme!  Tom managed to make his way to the Bahamas in time to avoid the ax, and now, he's living it up!  And the Party Crab is there to keep the mood alive!

Well, we have edged closer to the end of November.  But don't be sad!  I promise we'll close the month on high note!  It'll be very up-lifting for sure!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

UNDER THE SEA!!! WITH TOM TURKEY!!!

And we're back!  Hope y'all didn't miss me too much!  I got two other sites with comics, so there's plenty of CRAZY to go around folks!  Our pal Tom Turkey is back and wanted to take everyone on a tour of the deep blue!  So grab your snorkel and goggles and dive in!  It's turkey time!

Gotta watch out for puffer fish.  When they blow their tops, they mean business!  The theme this time was a Scuba Diving Turkey, which I had a lot of fun drawing, especially the snail and crab!  I love critters with funny looking eyes.  They have a lot of personality and are fun to draw!  Also love Tom's expression.  He seems so surprised!

And we finish another week here at CRAZY HQ.  We'll be back next time with some tropical exposure for ol' Tom Turkey!  Until then, take care, and I'll catch y'all later!

THE TOM TURKEY TAKEOVER TAKES OFF!!!

WELCOME TO NOVEMBER CRAZIES!!!

We are in the month of my favorite holiday of all… THANKSGIVING!!!  Turkey!  Pie!  Ham!  Pie!  Stuffing!  Pie!  Mashed potatoes!  And did I mention Pie yet?  Sorry folks, it's just this is about the only time a year I get to show off my cooking and really settle down and relax.  But that's not all!  It's also a time for art!  Turkey art!  You see, ol' Tom Turkey himself is on the run from hunters and has taken up refuge here in the CRAZYVERSE!  As an animal lover, I just couldn't let his final resting place be on the dinner table, so I let him stay!  Plus, cartoon turkeys have a terrible taste!  So sit back and enjoy today's hand-drawn feast…

All the entries from this month come from the Daily Doodle, who did a whole week of turkey-themed art, with the first being a Roller Skating Turkey.  I decided to have some fun with it and let the skates be his means of escape from a chef who may be related to another famous chef.  And having worked in a kitchen once, I can honestly say that "Bork" is a very common word used amongst chefs, Swedish or otherwise!

Well, that's all for today.  We'll be back next time for some more fun with Tom Turkey and some deep sea pals!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN CRAZIES!!!

Happy Halloween you CRAZY faithful!  I hope you remembered your pumpkin buckets and pillow cases, because I got two, yes, TWO pieces of art today!  The Pumpkin Bubble sketch just above is merely the appetizer!  Right below is the main course AND the dessert all rolled into one giant ghastly meal! Enjoy…

This was actually the combination of five days of Daily Doodle themes into one piece.  I'd been quite busy at work that week and only had time for one doodle.  So, I did them all!  In order no less!  A Pumpkin is being carved by a Zombie Mouse whose blood is being drunk by a Vampire Cat that's being accosted by a Werepig while a Slime Monster begs them to stop!  The slime monster was actually an artist's choice theme by Daily Doodle.  I felt a Slime Monster just needed to be in here!  They are the life force of Halloween after all!

And so we end our CRAZY dealings for the month of October!  I hope y'all enjoyed the art and will come back next month for some Turkey-Themed fun and chaos!  Until then, take care, have a fun and safe Halloween and I'll catch y'all later!

LIFE'S A WITCH!!!

The end is near!  The end of October that is!  Sheesh this month is just blowing by ain't it?  What we need is something to slow us down and "Lift" our spirits.  The Halloween Spirit especially!  And I got just the thing!  Enjoy...

This little laugher came about from the Daily Doodle.  In fact, ALL the art this month did.  The theme was a Young Witch, so I felt a little charm caster probably wouldn't have much mastery over her wand just yet and, well, this happened.  There's a lesson to be learned here: Kids can be cruel!  But seriously now, how many witches actually wear clothes that match?  It's almost a rule that they're as hodgepodge as possible!  And why is Bert of all Muppets even there?  Wouldn't the Count be more appropriate at a Wizarding school?

And that's it for today!  Next week, a couple of Halloween treats await, so be sure to come back and have your pumpkin buckets (Or pillow cases for the older kids) ready!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

WHAT LIES BENEATH!!!

Welcome back CRAZIES!!!  October's in full swing, and so am I!  Rather than blab on, as I'm doing right now, we're just gonna jump right into some colorfully colorful art!  And yes, I said the same thing twice just now.  Enjoy...

This post came from the Daily Doodle, with the theme being the Monster Under The Bed.  At least I think it was.  I enjoyed drawing this one, even though the shading's kinda goofy looking.  Shading's a skill I've never been able to pick up in all these years of drawing.  Oh well.  At least the glowing yellow eyes look cool!  Maybe someday the whole monster will finally come out?

Well, that's all I got for this week, but don't fret!  I'm coming back with some art next Wednesday that'll surely be "Uplifting."  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

LONG BEACH AND OWLS?! IT MUST BE OCTOBER!!!

Welcome to October CRAZIES!!!  So much going on this month!  Halloween!  Oktoberfest!  The return of Bubble Fox!  Yup!  Lot's going on!  Even this post is a biggie!  So let's get started and jump right into another blog doodle, shall we?

This piece came from the Daily Doodle.  I honestly can't remember the exact theme, although it may have been a combination of two themes.  I can't always draw these everyday, so sometimes I gotta group them!  Anyway, there had to be an owl and bugs, and this is what I came up with!

Last month, I spent a fun weekend in Long Beach attending the always awesome Long Beach Comic Con!  This year's show was the biggest ever, taking up their entire exhibit hall!  It also had one of the smallest Cosplay displays ever.  Usually LBCC has some of the best and funniest costumes you'll find anywhere.  Unfortunately, SoCal's been hit with some horrifically muggy weather in recent weeks, no doubt putting a damper on the plans of many cosplayers that weekend.  Still, some braved the elements and dressed up, so today, I salute them!  Enjoy...

Robocop!  He came to put an end to price gouging at booths!

FINALLY!!! Some more well-rounded Back To The Future cosplay!  And yes, that's a dude playing Jennifer!

My favorite costume of the con!  No one ever does The Mask.  This guy was good too!

Here's Saphire, but where's Ruby?

Over The Garden Wall cosplay!  Kinda bummed I missed this show.  It seemed pretty cool and Cartoon Network shows no signs of airing it again.

HAVE A NICE DAY!!!  Always love seeing wrestling cosplay!  Still waiting on Shockmaster and Gobbledygooker cosplay!  Someone please make that happen!

The only true badass of the Power Rangers universe!

Lord knows how hot that Splinter costume was, but its detail was amazing!  Totally movie accurate too! And yes, Deadpool cosplay was the dominant costume at LBCC!

Memo to Michael Bay: THIS IS HOW NINJA TURTLES ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK!!!

And who better to end it on than Pee Wee?  There were actually two Pee Wee Herman cosplayers at the show, but this dude wasn't wearing a mask, so he gets the spotlight!  Also saw him at WonderCon too!

And so ends the first post of October!  I'll be back next time with some monstrously good fun!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

THEY AIN'T HARVARD MATERIAL!!!

And we come to it at last!  The final September post EVER… in 2015!  Sorry folks, just had to play that trick on y'all!  Wait!  Don't go!  I got art!  I promise!  See…

Behold, The Twits!  One of Dahl's most unusual works, which is really saying something!  I'm surprised this book hasn't been adapted yet.  With their cruel actions towards each other and those around them, The Twits seem tailor-made for American media!  I'd rather watch them the the Kardashians, that's for sure!  Anyway, the worm cake was a delight to draw.  Especially the two worms butting heads!  I love working small gags like that into my art.  Hardly anyone ever notices the small things though.  Perhaps I should drop more clues?

Anyway, that's a wrap for September!  I'll rustle up some spooky art for the coming month and, with any luck, will have some pics from Long Beach Comic Con to share with you next week!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

HE'S JUST FANTASTIC!!!

And we're back and almost done with September!  Man how time flies.  Seems like only last week I was posting my Big Friendly Giant art.  Oh wait, that WAS last week!  Well, no need to stop now!  On with the show…

Today's art comes from Fantastic Mr. Fox.  It's the most recent Dahl book to be made into a film and the only one I didn't see.  Sorry, but I just don't like Wes Anderson's movies.  They're boring and pointless!  With that said, the book is great and I never miss the chance to draw a fox!

Well, only one more to go before we close out September!  I'll be back next time to end the month with a pair of road scholars if ya know what I mean!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

THINGS HAVE GOTTEN BIG!!!

Welcome back!  How was Long Beach Comic Con?  Hell if I know?  I wrote this two weeks before I went!  Hopefully it was cool!  And hopefully I remembered my camera this time so I can actually do a post on it next month!  But enough of these rambling from my past self!  It's time for some more Roald Dahl-inspired art!  Enjoy…

Today's art is based on the Big Friendly Giant, which, as you may have gathered, is about a big friendly giant.  That may have been Dahl's greatest trait as a writer; he was pretty straight forward with everything!  I loved working on this piece in particular because in a way it reminded me of when I was a teen and I'd babysit my cousin Mara.  She was such a tiny little sprite and I was kinda big.  She'd make me carry her everywhere, which wasn't much effort.  She weighed about 20Lbs. soaking wet!  Anyhoo, she's off to college this year while I'm off to drawing giants with kids riding on their heads.  Weird how that works out, eh?

And so ends another week!  We'll be back next time with some foxy art from one of Bubble's distant relatives.  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

EVERY LITTLE THING SHE DOES IS MAGIC!!!

Welcome back CRAZIES!  I heard through the grapevine y'all have been really good this week, so I shall reward you with art!  CRAZY art!  OK, I know y'all wanted pizza but cut me some slack!  The books aren't selling so I got no cash!  Anyway, enjoy some creativeness…

Today we have Matilda getting the CRAZY treatment!  This was another book that lead to a rather uninspired film adaptation.  In general, most of Dahl's books haven't translated well into feature films.  Part of the problem is, well, they tend to be quite dark, especially for kids books.  Movie studios prefer that their kids movies not be so dark, especially when the humor is very slapstick, much like Dahl's was.  This often leads to conflicts between writers and studio heads that's ultimately gonna be won be the studio because they pull the strings.  And now you all know why so many independent films are getting more traction.  Beyond that, this one was fun to draw, especially tossing the newt on Ms. Trunchbull.  Newts make everything better!

Anyway, that's all for now.  I'll be at Long Beach Comic Con this weekend, walking around and chilling with pals, so say high if you see me!  Next week, something BIG is coming to the CRAZYVERSE, so be ready!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

EVERYTHING IS PEACHY!!! WELCOME TO ROALD DAHL MONTH!!!

Welcome to September y'all!  Fall is upon us!  Sure, for some that means back to school, but you know what?  It also means cooler weather, football and holidays!  I say that's a fair trade off!  September's a special month this year at the CRAZYVERSE.  You see, last summer, the Daily Doodle did an entire week of art devoted the books of Roald Dahl!  As many of you are well aware, I'm a HUGE fan of Dahl's work and was excited for the chance to put a CRAZY spin on some of his most celebrated stories!  So sit back and strap as I take a crack at the World of Dahl!

First up is James and the Giant Peach!  I remember reading this book back in the fourth grade and loving it.  Then being disappointed by the movie which changed many of the elements from the book that made the story so satisfying.  Still, it gave stop motion animation a badly needed spotlight, so for that I'm grateful at least.  The bugs were always my favorite part of the book but sadly, I only had room for one.  Also felt this was a more realistic way of making the peach giant.  Just hope nothing pokes it!

Last week, I mentioned I was taking a break from Bubble Fox.  Well, it's true and it's also important to squash an easy-to-spread rumor before it starts.  I am NOT quitting!  I'm just taking a month off is all.  It may not always seem like it, but cartooning takes a lot of time.  One strip alone usually takes several hours to do, and that doesn't even include colored comics!  Now multiply that by 8-10, and you can see where I'm coming from here.  I've been cartooning nonstop since 2008 more or less.  In that time, I've graduated college, become a full-time stagehand, tabled at cons and dealt with a troubling amount of personal and family issues.  Sometimes, we just get burned out and need a break.  I know it's easy to fear such things given how many artists take breaks that wind up never ending.  But I promise all of you it's only for a month and come October, Bubble will be back foxing it up like never before!  In the meantime though,  some pals have agreed to house sit for me while I'm gone so be ready for a guest month of epic proportions!  So be ready!

You may be asking yourself "Why Bubble Fox and not this blog or Peppertown?"  Well, the art for this blog is fairly quick to produce since the pencils already exist.  And most of Peppertown has been complete for YEARS now!  It's only just now getting posted.  Bear in mind I don't do roughs anymore.  When you see a Bubble strip, your seeing it as I do: From my mind to the page!  Anyway, I hope that clears everything up.

Well, that's all for this week.  We'll be back next time with a magical little girl that predates most of the ones who've shined in the manga world for decades!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

A 'ROARING" GOOD TIME!!!

*Sigh*  Summer is just about over folks, but that's OK.  The summer season pretty much lost its significance to me the second I graduated college and I actually like the fall!  Good food, holidays, cooler weather and that awesome pumpkin-vanilla smell permeating the air…  Yup, it's my favorite time of year!  But enough about that!  We still have a few days of summer fun left, so we may as well enjoy them!  And what better way than with a kid and her monster?  Enjoy…

I believe this was a Daily Doodle entry with the theme being a girl with a monster.  As many of you know, I love drawing fuzzy, Muppet-like monsters and really silly kids, so it didn't take much prodding to get me to join in on this one!  Some of you longtime CRAZIES may even recognize this beast as the vaunted Wedgie Monster of Mike And Mindy fame!  He really is a nice monster.  When kids aren't disturbing his naps at least!  If history's any kind of an indicator, this girl may wanna start running or she'll soon be in the market for some new Fruit Of The Looms!

Well folks, that's all for August!  We'll kick September off on the right foot with some more polished art and some news on the break I'll be taking from Bubble Fox that month.  No need to get worried though as all will be addressed next week.  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

"CRACKING" A "PANT-LOAD" OF LAUGHS!!!

Welcome back CRAZIES!!!  Are we really halfway through August already?  Time sure does fly.  But if it didn't, life would be all backwards, and that would just be weird!  But enough of my mind bogglingly dumb philosophy!  You want art!  So let's get… Wait for it… "Cracking!"

This topic was thought up by Sketch Dailies, only, they requested the mythical Kraken of Norse folklore.  I chose to take a little creative license with mine and unleash another beast of notorious origin: The foul smelling, brown eyed Crack-en!  Beware of this beast, for it can be quite deadly, especially after devouring large helping of beans!  And lest you think I totally ignored the topic, look at the pointing boy's shirt!  You may notice a tentacled beast of Norse origin!

Well folks, I think I "Aired" this one out long enough.  It's time to mosey for this week.  We'll close out August with some "Monstrous" fun next time.  Until then, take it easy and I'll catch y'all later!

ALL HAIL THE CRAZY KING!!!

And we're back with some royal insanity for all my CRAZY fans!  Now that the Comic Con madness has died down, we can finally get back to what matters: Me hawking my art on you like a surly carnival barker!  Enjoy...

I honestly can't remember whether this was a Daily Doodle topic or a Sketch Dailies one, but I remember having lots of fun with it.  There was initially a prince and princess in this too, but they just didn't come out right.  So I left the CRAZY King be, and like most men of power, the Emperor had no clothes!

Well folks, that's all for this week.  I'll be back next time with some art that'll hopefully make y'all "Crack" a smile.  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

THE CRAZY COMIC CON 2015 RECAP IS FINALLY HERE!!!

Can't believe it's been almost a month since SDCC15 already!  It was an insane ten days for me (I had to set it up and take it down too), but man was it wild, as Comic Con usually is.  So many great costumes and moments at this year's show…  How can I possibly summarize it right now?!  Whoa Jon!  Slow down a minute.  Post some slug art first.  That'll give your brain a chance to recalibrate and make a proper review here!

Sorry about that folks, but my brain is right!  Enjoy this polished art while the main course gets prepped!

This art was from a Daily Doodle entry that asked us to draw a slug.  I've always found slugs and snails to be misunderstood critters.  Sure they eat plants, but they aren't really harmful to humans and are also quite gentle.  What's not to love about them?  Plus they got cool eyes and eat weeds in addition to other plants!  And this one is affectionate towards leaves!  Honestly now, how can slugs and snails be bad?

OK, now that that's been taken care of, it's time to get to the main event!  You wanted it, you're getting it!  I present to you San Diego Comic Con 2015!  Enjoy...

The Sharknado crew was out in full force in the Gaslamp Quarter giving away some of the most coveted swag of the con…  To folks that didn't even have tickets!

Lot's of great free attractions were happening across the street, like the Assassin's Creed Obstacle Course.  I did not try this one.  My body's banged up enough as it is!

The Peanuts Experience at the Petco Park Interactive Zone was great!  The whole area in general was to be honest!  Best part?  It was free for all!  (You may be noticing a trend here)

Ooogie Boogie was chilling on the streets of Downtown San Diego.

As was a Skesis!  Lord only knows how hot it was inside that suit, but it was insanely detailed and fully functional!

Don't give this kid any gold coins!

I'm not sure what game/show/comic this is from, but it was pretty cool!

That raptor really doest take kindly to this dude peeing on its tree!

Nanoo nanoo, it's a sweet tribute Mork and Robin Williams!

Couldn't get into the main Masquerade Ball at SDCC?  No problem!  The Petco Park Interactive Zone held an impromptu costume contest at their shindig!

Pretty cool Dragonball Z Cosplay group!  Watch out for Cell though.  It's been known to be quite combustible!

 It's Wilfred!

And Buddy the Elf!  Say it with me folks: "They best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing real loud for all to hear!"  God I love that movie!

My niece Kristen got to meet her favorite heroine, Star from Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil!

Adam and Barbera got interviewed by San Diego's lowest rated morning news program!

Who ya gonna call?  The REAL Ghostbusters!

Wow!  Just, wow!  How did this guy even see in that thing?  Let alone not suffer a heat stroke?  Truly amazing work on this costume!

Nerd HQ at the Children's Museum was another pretty cool FREE alternative for folks who couldn't get tickets for SDCC!  Lots of awesome freebies and activities, including the Playstation lounge and delicious food trucks!

Look who I got to meet!  La Bomba from Conan!  He was so cool!  A real down to earth dude!

And finally, who better to finish out the Comic Con madness with than Joel Robinson and Torgo?!  It's insane how popular Manos The Hands Of Fate is now!  Almost every year since 2008, at least one guy has come to Con as Torgo!

Comic Con was a time and a half for sure!  Had a good time catching up with old pals while making new ones, not to mention seeing all the sights and sounds.  It's still a huge affair, but crowd control's gotten much better in recent years.  I think the organizers finally found a way to balance things out.  Not to mention there's so much off-site stuff happening now that it's helping to draw crowds away from the main show.  Hopefully in the coming years it''ll be done in such a way that all can enjoy it again without the fear of the show selling out.  Here's hoping and that SDCC16 will be even more fun!

Well folks, that's all for now.  I'll be back next week with some art that is "Royally" fun.  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!
