AN EXPLOSIVE END TO THE CRAZYVERSARY THANKS TO SHANNON!!!

And so it ends.  The CRAZYVERSARY 2015 has concluded.  I know, it's a tough time, but we'll come back next year!  It may be a little different, but I promise it'll come back.  And since it's over for now, we may as well end it with a "Bang," so let's see what Shannon O'Brien has unleashed...

Wow, two fart jokes in two days.  Have we gone low brow or what?  Still, who doesn't enjoy a good laugh at a hilarious fart?  Simple rule of comedy: FARTS ARE FUNNY!!!

Shannon O'Brien is a very dear friend of mine.  I met her on Twitter after missing her at WonderCon last year.  She'd come to my table while I was on my lunch break and really went out of her way to contact me on Twitter and make friends afterward.  Ever since we've been best pals!  Her comic, The Adventures Of Wendy And Lucy, is a funny tale about two silly dogs who get into all sorts of mischief and adventures.  What I like most about Shannon is that she's always positive and optimistic.  Her optimism is infectious and makes all who meet her strive to bring more smiles.  Her storybook art style is a real eye-pleaser and I love reading the comic exploits of her goofy dogs!  Thanks again Shannon.  You really gassed, er, CLASSED up Mike And Mindy!

Well, that's all for the CRAZYVERSARY folks.  I wanna thank all the amazing artists for taking the time to give Mike and Mindy one last send off.  I love and respect each of you like you were my family.  The web comic community is a truly amazing one and unlike any other.  The support and help we offer each other is inspiring and I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful genre.

Next week marks another special event.  The first Bubble Fox book was recently released and to celebrate, I'll be presenting The Spirit Of Bubble Fox, a presentation of 12 comics, IN COLOR, that have been deemed the best from Bubble's first year on the web.  It should be a lot of fun, so be sure to come back next week and check it out.  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

HEADS IN THE CLOUDS WITH PETER, MIKE AND MINDY!!!

It's Thursday folks and we only got two more to go for the 2015 CRAZYVERSARY!  I know, now that Mike And Mindy is over, these will likely be the last guest comics ever, but you know what?  If people still wanna do them then I'm more than happy to take them, so we'll see how it goes next year!  Until then, enjoy this "Explosive" comic from Peter Rasmussen...

Back alley farts.  Almost as dangerous as stalled elevator farts!  It's often said that helium-based gags were the bread and butter of the Mike And Mindy series, and indeed they were for the most part.  But fart jokes played a HUGE role too over the years and were very popular with readers for some reason.  And it should also be noted that Mike and Mindy AREN'T related, but Peter's son declared that for story purposes, they are!  I can't argue with a six-year-old's logic.  It's very sound!

Peter Rasmussen is a Danish-born artist living in England doing the hilarious web comic Badly Doodled, a slice of life tale about his daily adventures in fatherhood.  It's a very sweet comic that often echoes real life for any who've raised kids.  Peter's son is a funny little guy who often critiques my comics, usually voicing his displeasure for my LACK of gross out gags!  I can't draw them every strip, but I try to work them in when I can!  Hopefully this strip picks up some of that slack.  Thanks again Peter!  This strip was a real -Wait for it- GAS!!!

One…  One more to go…  Shannon O'Brien's stopping by and promised me some "Explosive" laughs, so we'll see if she can deliver!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

MIKE AND MINDY GET CUTE WITH MEGAN!!!

HUMP DAY IS HERE!!!  Is everybody spunky and is everybody's oatmeal lumpy?  What's that?  It's "Hump" Day not "Humpty" Day?  Oh.  My bad!  Anyway, we got a very cute offering from Megan McKay here, so enjoy...

BWAAAAW!!! Don't ya just wanna eat them up?!  They look so darn adorable with those giant eyes!  Almost like Chibi-style drawings!  I swear it's puppies and kittens rolled into one here!

Megan McKay is the genius behind the hilarious comic Doodle For Food, which falls into the same category as The Far Side.  It's silly, irreverent, and totally off the wall.  So naturally, it's a comic that's right up my alley!  I love what she's done with my "Kids" here.  The large pupils, chubby limbs and lack of noses just made me go all doughy-eyed!  Thanks again Megan!  If your comic's title is true, you'll likely be changing it to I Got Plenty Of Food Now, Thank You! because it's gonna be big!

Well, that's all for now, but don't hold your breath!  We'll be back tomorrow with a guest toon from Peter Rasmussen that will definitely leave your head in the "Clouds!"  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

STICKIN' AROUND WITH PJ AND PALS!!!

Hello!  It's Tuesday!  And the great PJ Day has traveled to the CRAZYVERSE with a few notable pals in order to bring more fun and cheer to the CRAZYVERSARY!  Warning though, you may find it hard to leave after reading this one...

Mike and Mindy never like it when friends have to go home.  Unfortunately, it's antics like this that often discourage repeat visits after their company DOES get free!  Hopefully, Gorr (Mark Stokes' Zombie Boy), Picpak (Kim Belding's Picpak Dog) and Suzanne (David Hurley's Don't Pick The Flowers) won't be scared away after this playdate!

PJ Day, creator of the hilarious comic Flatt Bear, is no stranger to these parts, having done a guest comic for me last year.  I too have had the honor of drawing his wonderful characters in guest comic form and highly recommend his tale of a goofy bear in the Witness Protection Program living with a single mother and her rowdy daughter to anyone in need of a laugh or two!  I gotta say, I love how he added Bubble Fox and a few other web comic pals to that sticky mess that Mike and Mindy created!  Thanks again PJ!  The more the merrier I always say!

Well, it's about to be the midway point, but don't be sad!  We got a super cute bit from Megan McKay coming tomorrow, so I hope you'll stick around to see it!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

MIKE VS. MINDY… BATTLE OF THE CENTURY PRESENTED BY CANDY!!!

Welcome back!  It's the final week of the CRAZYVERSARY, but there's no reason to be sad.  We still got five wonderful guest comics for your viewing pleasure, starting with this epic from the great Candy Briones!  Enjoy...

Mike and mindy have always had a volatile relationship for sure.  But when it comes to cake, NEVER stand in their way!  As you can see, their helium hijinks are mere child's play compared to their unrelenting desire for sweets!

Candy Briones is the delightful cartoonist behind the hilarious comic Taco El Gato, the tale of a slacker cat who gains super powers after eating magical tacos.  She's also a very funny and kind person and one of the few pals on Twitter I've gotten the honor to meet in person.  When I got this toon I geeked out pretty hard.  I was a huge Dragonball Z fan as a teen, so getting a Mike And Mindy guest comic like this was certainly a thrill!  Thanks again Candy!  You're as sweet as your namesake and I hope to see ya at WonderCon in April!

Well folks, that's all for now.  We'll be back tomorrow with a toon from PJ Day that I just know will "Stick" with all of you!  Until then, take care and I'll see y'all tomorrow!

MIKE, MINDY AND VAS… HELIUM SAVIORS!!!

Week Three of the 2015 CRAZYVERSARY has come to an end.  I know, I know, we're all sad, but that just means we'll have to make the finale next week REALLY count!  But for this party to work, we'll need some balloons!  What's that you say?  Helium's running out?  Never fear!  Vas Littlecrow has found an ample supply!  Watch and learn…

Sheesh Mike!  You were just in space even!  Didn't you notice the abundant supply of helium hanging around the sun?  Why do you think aliens have such squeaky voices?

Vas Littlecrow is quite the busy bee in the world of web comics having really seen and done it all.  Her comic, Rasputin Catamite, is a graphic tale (Quite literally!  Adults only!) with amazing artwork and characterization.  She also hosts the weekly Web Comic Chat on Twitter, a way to help us web cartoonists connect and share ideas and stories about our processes.  It's always a fun time to be had, so we all owe Vas a debt of gratitude for helping us connect!  I owe her a bigger debt for this amazing toon she sent me.  I love seeing Mike and Mindy in a more serious style.  The fact that they're willing to search the galaxy to help keep their favorite gag alive speaks volumes for their character!  Thanks again Vas!  You are a true beacon in the Web Comic Sea.

And so ends Week Three!  Thanks again to Tim Green, Scott Warren, Eline W., Dave Craig and Vas Littlecrow for all the awesome comics you guys sent me this week!  I'm honored and blessed to have such amazing friends!  The CRAZYVERSARY ends next week, but not before we get five more awesome comics, starting with a "Powerful" strip from Candy Briones!  Until then, take care, and I'll catch y'all next time!

CHANGE IS GOOD, ESPECIALLY WHEN DAVE EXPLAINS IT!!!

Another week is almost up, but not before we unveil a couple more comics for your viewing pleasure!  Dave Craig is here and man did he deliver something special!  Enjoy...

That's right folks!  Mike and Mindy were merely Bubble and Willow the whole time!  It's hard for foxes to get work, but luckily that is finally changing.  And because of that, Bubble and Willow didn't have to hide anymore, so now they can be there foxy selves!

Dave Craig is the genius behind the hilarious (And sometimes adult, so beware) Horovitz Comics.  His comic is literally the second coming of the legendary The Far Side in terms of its irreverent and outrageous humor!  He's also a huge Bubble Fox fan and a pretty deep thinker, as this is a very special comic.  Mike and Mindy have passed the torch and show that change is necessary and the show must go on, especially in comics.  Dave really nailed this one and it almost brought tears to my eyes the story was so beautiful.  Thanks again Dave.  And thanks for doing such a remarkable job coloring it!  Talk about eye candy!

Well, Week Three ends tomorrow folks, but don't be sad! Vas Littlecrow is here and taking us on a trip we'll never forget!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

GET A SLICE OF ELINE'S COMIC CAKE!!!

HUMP DAY IS HERE!!!  And curse Geico for making that a thing!  YOU RAT BASTARDS!!!  It's almost as bad as those stupid cavemen ads!  Thank goodness Eline W. is here to quell the anger that insurance commercials can stir up!  Enjoy...

What's that saying about curiosity and cats?  Turns out it applies to kids too.  At least its a tasty lesson to learn!  Wonder how long Mindy was hiding out in there anyway?

Dutch cartoonist Eline W. is new pal I met on Twitter a few months ago.  Her artwork is insanely cute and a whole lotta fun to look at.  The bright colors are like literal eye candy and it always makes my day to see her most recent Daily Doodle drawings.  Unlike me, she can actually get hers fully inked and colored the day she makes them, as opposed to my lazy butt finishing them up a year later!  To see more of Eline's wonderful work, check out her site here!  Thanks again Eline!  The cake was delicious!

Well, halfway through the week now, but it ain't over yet!  Dave Craig is coming tomorrow with a very revealing look at the process of change!  Until then, take it easy and I'll see y'all on Thursday!

GETTIN' FULL OFF OF HILARITY WITH MIKE, MINDY AND SCOTT!!!

Happy Tuesday y'all!  Are you hungry?  Hungry for toasted corn puffs formed into familiar shapes and coated in sugar and combined with marshmallows?  Lots and LOTS of marshmallows?  Then served in a huge bowl of milk while you watch cartoons in your underoos?  Then you've come to right place, because Scott Warren is today's guest artist, and he's all about that!  Enjoy…

Yes folks!  Frosted Mike and Mindy Crispies Cereal is the only cereal endorsed by Mike and Mindy and stamped with Munchy's seal of approval!  Part of a complete breakfast!  (Caution: Bloating and strange dreams have been reported in some states)

Scott Warren has quickly shot into my Top Five list of the best cartoonists on the web today.  His style is appealing, his colors brilliant and his stories are just insanely funny, making his comic, Crunchy Bunches, a must read for any comics fan.  He captures the spirit and magic of the saturday mornings we all remember so fondly with his tales of the daily lives of cereal mascots.  Simply put, he's the total package, with apologies to Lex Lugar.  Last year, Scott kindly did a very funny and "Uplifting" comic for the CRAZYVERSARY and later on asked me to do a guest comic for him (Seen here) that played off another love of his: Fast Food Icons!  You see?  It was the Munchy Gang that convinced Grimace to change his evil ways: Through persuasion!  Thanks again Scott!  You "Filled" my heart with joy today!

That's a wrap for today!  Tomorrow, a new pal, Eline W., stops by with a sweet treat for Wednesday!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

RIDDLE ME THIS? WHAT'S ROUND, FUNNY AND FULL OF HOT AIR? TIM GREEN'S MIKE AND MINDY COMIC!!

Welcome back!  It's week three of the CRAZYVERSARY and things are really getting huge!  And that's not just because Tim Green is handling today's guest comic duties, although he is partly responsible.  See for yourself…

Trolls can be fierce, but not particularly smart.  They've also been known to be quite full of themselves, as seen above!  Just this Bridge Troll's luck that he came across Mike and Mindy instead of some billy goats!  He should be thankful he didn't come across Mindy's Bloomer Bud Sunny!  No telling WHAT she'd do!

Tim Green of Vinnie The Vampire fame is one of my closest friends.  He's comforted me during many rough days, wrote the foreword to my third book and even gave me a copy of his first VTV collection.  Flat and simple, if you looked up gentleman in the dictionary, there'd be a picture of Tim beside it.  He's a class act and an amazing man and I thank God our paths crossed.  Although that troll probably ain't too happy about it now!  Thanks again Tim!  I think you taught every troll out there you can't be rattled.

And that's all for today!  Tomorrow, the great Scott Warren drops in to "Pour" us all a great big bowl of awesome!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

AND WE ALL FLOAT ON WITH BRAD!!!

It's the last day of Week 2 of the CRAZYVERSARY!  Don't feel sad.  We still got two more weeks to go and plenty of fun left!  And as any longtime Mike And Mindy fans can tell ya, helium makes EVERYTHING better!  Don't believe me?  The just check out this toon that Brad Perri sent in...

Better watch out Bubble, pirates rarely bluff, and it's far worse for a puffed foxed to meet the edge of a blade than a normal one!  Poor Mike and Mindy.  Bubble Fox REALLY wanted to make sure his status at the top of the CRAZYVERSE was sealed, so he sent them flying!  But doesn't this mean Mike and Mindy are more on top than Bubble now?  Questions, questions...

On the plus side, Mike and Mindy love to travel, so now they get to go on another trip, maybe even to Europe, depending where they land!

Brad Perri is the creator of a hilarious comic called Pirate Mike, the tale of a reformed pirate trying to adjust to modern suburban life with his family while still trying to be a rascally buccaneer!  Gotta admit, I always have to resist the urge to call Brad "Mike" when chatting with him he's become so synonymous with his toon, the true mark of a good cartoonist I might add!  He's also become a very good friend and like so many I'm finding out, is a Bubble Fox fan!  When he initially sent this strip in, Mike and Mindy were nowhere to be found!  I suggested he simply toss them in the background somewhere and boy did he deliver!  Not sure if it was implied, but I do love the possible theme of "Out with the old, in with the new" as Bubble's clearly supplanted Mike and Mindy as top dog in these parts.  And if that was the idea, what better way to send those "Windbags" packing!  Thanks again Brad.  Ye be alright for a scurvy dog!

And so concludes Week 2 of the CRAZYVERSARY!  Thanks so much to Warren Frantz, Andrea Hatch, Rex Garnett, Sr., Ben Starzec and Brad Perri for the week of laughter and joy you all delivered!  Things pick right back up again on Monday with a comic from Tim Green that's "Pumped" full of hilarity!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all later!

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! BEN'S UNLEASHED MINZILLA!!!

Alright!  The weekend's almost here!  But first, we gotta get through a couple more comics, and boy did Ben Starzec deliver a doozy!

Wow!  Bruce Lee-zard is a HUGE star!  How on Earth did Ben snag such an awesome guest star for his comic?!  Can't say I blame Mindy for wanting to emulate such an amazing talent!  Plus, who HASN'T wanted to rampage through the streets of Tokyo at one time or another?

Ben Starzec is no stranger here at the CRAZYVERSE, having taken part in the most recent CRAZY CARTOON EXPERIMENT.  His Comic, Dogs, Ducks And Aliens, the tale of some dogs, ducks and aliens that put on a wrestling promotion, is one of the most insane comics one the web and a must read for any wrestling fan!  He's also a huge fan of Bubble Fox and is constantly spreading the word of my other series, for which I am eternally grateful for.  Imagine my surprise when he sent me this great guest strip that not only had Mike and Mindy in it, but also a variation of Malfor, the ferocious dragon that gave Bubble and the Bunny Warrior Cecile (Of Minki Kim's Cotton Tale) the chase of their lives back in October!  This strip is an instant classic well versed in the M&M tropes.  Thanks again Ben!  Now cue some Blue Oyster Cult, and I don't mean cowbell!

Well, Week 2 of the CRAZYVERSARY concludes tomorrow, but never fear!  Brad Perri has assured me the second week will end on a "High" note so that we can gently "Float" into the weekend.  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

WELL WISHING WITH MIKE AND MINDY AND REX!!!

Hump Day y'all!  Hump day is here!  So why not celebrate the middle of the week by looking at a sweet little comic from the great Rex Garnett, Sr.?  I thought y'all would agree with me on this!  Enjoy...

Nothing like getting together with pals to celebrate life's accomplishments!  Especially when one of them is an orange cat!  Talk about a real party animal!

Rex Garnett, Sr. is the mind and hand behind the wonderful strip Dutch 'N Pals, a comic about a boy, his cat and the fun times they have together.  It's very reminiscent Peanuts and Calvin And Hobbes and always a pleasure to read.  Rex is also good pal and a lot of fun to chat with and always there to offer help and advice to fellow cartoonists on Twitter.  Thanks again bud!  Mike and Mindy had a lot of fun chilling with Dutch and his pals!

Three down, two to go on Week Two, and Ben Starzec has promised some "Monster" laughs in tomorrow's comic, so stay "Tooned!"  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

THE CRAZYVERSARY IS LOUD AND PROUD WITH ANDREA HATCH!!!

WOO HOO!!!  IT'S NO LONGER MONDAY!!!  And that means another new CRAZYVERSARY guest comic is hot out the oven, or in this case, the Dutch Oven! (I know that's bad, but I couldn't resist that joke!)  Andrea Hatch has stopped by and delivered a guest comic that's truly a "Gas!"  Enjoy…

Science has shown that nothing loosens a tense situation up quicker than some swift broken wind!  And if you can't fart in front of your friends, who CAN you fart in front of?  And let's face it, Mike and Mindy are destined to be married someday, so they may as well start getting comfortable around each other's bad habits now while they're still young!

Andrea Hatch is a wonderful artist I met on Twitter several years ago who sadly left the social media juggernaut but thankfully came back recently.  We were able to reconnect and now I'm the proud owner of this hilarious and straight adorable Mike And Mindy guest comic!  I tell ya, she's a pretty amazing artist whose uber-cute style works in almost any genre as witnessed by the phenomenal work seen on her website.  She's also a sweet person and a joy to talk to on Twitter and bounce ideas off of.  Thanks again Andrea!  Just glad they didn't light any matches before checking things out!

Well, Tuesday's now in the history books and we're heading into Hump Day Numero Dos of the 2015 CRAZYVERSARY!  Rex Garnett, Sr. will be coming by with a well wish of his own, so be sure to come check it out!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

THE CRAZYVERSARY IS BACK, STARTING WITH WARREN WORKIN' WEEK 2!!!

WOO HOO!!!  We're back and ready to roll again with week two of the CRAZYVERSARY!  We got a lot of funny guest comics planned, so let's dive right in with the third in a series of guest strips involving another pair of CRAZY kids, Gloria and Gayle Golz of Warren Frantz's Off Season!

Wow girls!  Melons and Mallets?  How'd y'all know that's one of Mike and Mindy's favorite games?  That was very thoughtful and messy!  Next time, they'll introduce y'all to another favorite past time of theirs: Connect Pies!

I've sung the praises of Warren Frantz on this site many times over the years.  Recently even!  For those of you new though, Warren is my hockey-playing, poutine-snacking, beer-swilling, moose-barbequing big "brother" from the magical land of Canada, where the football fields are more than 100 yards long and farting is appreciated as the sophisticated humor it truly is!  He's also just a one of a kind guy, probably the most decent man I know.  Warren's done many guest strips in the past, all involving friendly competitions between our respective "Kids."  This time, the four decided to play together, which may be for the best given what happened the last time they all got together as seen in this guest comic I did for Warren last year.  Thanks again Warren and I promise, Mike and Mindy are always happy to come out and play.

Well, that's all for today, but fear not!  We're coming back tomorrow with a touching toon from Andrea Hatch that'll leave y'all "Breathless!"  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

THAT'S NO MOON, IT'S JOE GILLESPIE'S GUEST COMIC STRIP!!!

We've come to the end of the first week of the CRAZYVERSARY.  I was worried at first as everybody was too busy celebrating the fact that the weekend's here to deliver a comic, but thankfully Joe Gillespie stopped by with this larger-than-life strip that delivered some HUGE laughs!

Did I say huge laughs?  I meant huge BELLY laughs!  Helium plays another role here as does the original Star Wars trilogy (Does anyone truly recognize the prequels?).  Although Mindy is nowhere to be seen, we can only assume she is the culprit behind Mike's inflated state!  An even scarier fact: Gas expands as it rises, which means that Mike is STILL inflating up in space!  For a kid he sure can hold a lot!  Either he's gonna explode or he'll soon release the most epic fart in the history of the universe!  Either way, this doesn't bode well for Alderaan!

Joe Gillespie is a pretty amazing dude.  Through his 4545 Comics brand, he draws the comic Night Ninja which is co-written by his three-year-old son!  Talk about a family affair!  Joe's also an amazing pal and a great supporter of the web comic community, always spreading the word about the work of others.  And if that weren't enough, Joe's got a kids book he's working on called A Notorious Child in the works for this year!  This proves one of two things: Either Joe never sleeps or he is an android!  Either way, he's a dude I'm proud to call a friend!  Thanks again Joe!  This toon was a "Gas!"

Well, that's all for this week folks!  The CRAZYVERSARY starts back up on Monday with a new toon from my Canadian Big Brother, Warren Frantz!  Until then, thanks to Kim Belding, J.A. Parker, Ryan Klassen, Matt Cole and Joe Gillespie for an awesome first week!  Take care and I'll catch y'all next time!

MATT COLE ONE UPS THE CRAZYVERSARY!!!

Welcome back!  It's Thursday which means only one thing: LAUNDRY DAY!!!  Oh yeah, and another CRAZYVERSARY guest strip.  This time, Matt Cole has come over and he really brought his A Game!  Enjoy…

If "Fenemies" (A term I hate by the way!) ever applied to two people, it would be Mike and Mindy.  Their rivalry knows no bounds, even when it comes to grave peril.  Not sure if Mindy should really be all that jealous in the end here though.  That bear looks pretty hungry!

Matt Cole is a more recent discovery I made via Twitter and man am I thankful I came across his phenomenal work!  Everything he does is simply amazing, with his colors in particular being a true delight!  That he does it all by hand still (no computers other than scanning) is a true marvel and one I respect greatly.  Even I use Photoshop Elements for minor touchups!  Matt's a one of a kind talent as anyone who's seen his amazing comic Jabaru can attest to!  When I put out the call I needed guest comics, he was among the first to answer and not only delivered the beauty above but also a brilliant Bubble Fox guest comic as well!  I tell y'all I really am blessed to have my characters rendered by such a great artist.  Thanks again Matt!

Well, week one is almost done and Joe Gillespie has promised to deliver some Moon-sized laughs!  So stop by on friday for some "Large" laughs!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

RYAN KLASSEN'S HERE FOR THE CRAZYVERSARY AND IT'S A GAS!!!

HUMP DAY!!!  We are dead smack in the middle of week one of the CRAZYVERSARY!  Ryan Klassen took part in last year's celebration and did such a cool (And fast!) strip, we had to have him come back for some more CRAZY fun!  Hold your noses and enjoy…

I used to think only unicorns could fart rainbows.  Apparently wizards and witches can too!  This must be what drove Saruman to side with Sauron.  The shame drove him mad!

Ryan Klassen is an awesome cartoonist.  Consistently funny and one of the quickest draws in comics, Ryan is a true marvel!  His comic, City Folk, is a combo of slice of life and and funny animal comics that rings true for any that struggle through that first part of adulthood.  He really knows how to lighten things up and I always look forward to new strips by Ryan.  I also love how he draws Mike and Mindy!  They act more like real kids in his toons!  Ryan was also kind enough to include Mike and Mindy in a recent sketch he did for his site, seen here!  Some great company to be in and honored to have my "Kids" sandwiched between Gully and Picpak Dog.  Warren Frantz and Kim Belding are two of my closest friends in real life after all.  Thanks again Ryan!

Well, another day has passed.  Tomorrow Matt Cole stops by in an attempt to "Top" all other guest strips!  Will he succeed?  Tune in tomorrow and find out!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all Thursday!

MIKE AND MINDY "HANG OUT" WITH J.A. PARKER AND WEDGIE MONSTER!!!

Welcome back CRAZIES!!!  It's day two of the CRAZYVERSARY and J.A. Parker has stopped by to "Hang Out" for a bit!  Enjoy…

Man, those two are just never gonna learn to stop screwing with Wedgie Monster are they?!  I mean, IT'S IN HIS FRIGGIN' NAME EVEN!!!  Some fools just can't be taught I suppose.

J.A. Parker is one of the most prolific young cartoonists on the web today.  Between his work on Achoo, Manimals and Lumbersexual, I'm trying to figure out how he found the time to work on this piece!  He's also a good friend and a big booster of the web comics community.  J.A. had mentioned to me how funny he thought Wedgie Monster was and asked why he had so few appearances in the comics.  I honestly have no good answer there as monsters played a rather large role in the early years of the CRAZYVERSE.  In Wedgie Monster's case, you can only give so many before it becomes passé.  In any event, J.A. has brought this beast back in all his tight whitey-yanking glory!  Just wonder what they did to him THIS time to rattle his horns?  Thanks again J.A.  You really "Pulled" off a classic here!

And day two is up!  Hump Day brings on my pal Ryan Klassen's effort, which will leave you all "Mystified!"  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!

CRAZYVERSARY 2015 IS A GO WITH KIM, PICPAK, INFLATION AND 3D!!!

HAPPY CRAZYVERSARY!!!  No, Mike and Mindy aren't back.  As you can see, they are clearly enjoying their retirement and the beach!  But it is their anniversary month, and a party still has to happen for them!  Just like in years past, every weekday this month we got a Mike And Mindy guest comic coming at you from some awesome pals from the web comic realm!  First up is Kim Belding, creator of Mike and Mindy's favorite pal, Picpak Dog!  But before we jump into the guest comic, I first have a surprise for all my CRAZIES.

Have any of you ever wanted to see Mike and Mindy in… 3D?!

Well now you can!  The above image is the result of countless hours of research and experimentation!  It's amazing how well it came out and I hope y'all get a kick out of it!  What's that?  You don't have 3D glasses?  Never fear!  The good folks at Wikihow got you covered!  Follow the included link here for directions and a template to make your own red and blue 3D glasses should have none of your own!  And yes, the red and cyan type will work too if you have those!

And now, enjoy the toon…

These three have quite a history together!  Picpak was sad to hear of his friends' retirement but had assurances they'd still have some fun every now and then.  Perhaps he should've been more specific on the actual time!

I can't sing the praises of Kim Belding enough.  He's a kind hearted soul, a phenomenal talent and an amazing pal.  He's always a good sport in our constant debates over which root beer is the best.  He's my partner in crime and one day we WILL get CRAZY in Pink off the ground.  Without the aid of helium to boot!  When I got this toon I laughed rather heartily.  It really did sum up the friendship and friendly rivalry of our respective casts peferctly.  Inflation was M&M's trademark gag really and in a sense it's been passed on to Picpak.  Thanks again Kim.  I take comfort knowing these guys will always be full of hot air!

You know?  3D was cool, but the request I get the most is animation.  "When are we gonna see Mike and Mindy move Jon?" is something I'm constantly asked and if I had the money, it'd be done in a heartbeat!  But I don't so I hope this really simple GIF is good enough!  Enjoy...

This was probably the grossest gag I ever did in a Mike And Mindy comic.  It got one of the best reactions ever from readers and seemed taylor made to be animated.  I know the GIF is rough, but I think it came out OK for having never done one before.  Perhaps someday it will be properly animated for to see and hear!

Well, that's all for day one, but don't feel left "Hanging!"  We got a new guest toon tomorrow from J.A. Parker that will be "Monster" laughs for all!  Until then, take care and I'll catch y'all tomorrow!
